* dt-bindings: mfd: x-powers,axp152: Make interrupt optional for more chipsAndre Przywara2023-11-011-1/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | All X-Powers PMICs described by this binding have an IRQ pin, and so far (almost) all boards connected this to some NMI pin or GPIO on the SoC they are connected to. However we start to see boards that omit this connection, and technically the IRQ pin is not essential to the basic PMIC operation. The existing Linux driver allows skipping the IRQ pin setup for two chips already, so update the binding to also make the DT property optional for the missing chip. And while we are at it, add the AXP313a to that list, as they are actually boards out there not connecting the IRQ pin. This allows to have DTs correctly describing those boards not wiring up the interrupt. | | | | | | | | | | | The AXP192 PMIC is similar to the AXP202/AXP209, but with different regulators, additional GPIOs, and a different IRQ register layout, so it needs a new compatible string. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The X-Powers AXP313a is a PMIC used on some devices with the Allwinner H616 or H313 SoC. * | dt-bindings: Fix SPI and I2C bus node names in examplesRob Herring2023-03-081-2/+2
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | SPI and I2C bus node names are expected to be "spi" or "i2c", respectively, with nothing else, a unit-address, or a '-N' index. A pattern of 'spi0' or 'i2c0' or similar has crept in. Fix all these cases. Mostly scripted with the following commands: git grep -l '\si2c[0-9] {' Documentation/devicetree/ | xargs sed -i -e 's/i2c[0-9] {/i2c {/' git grep -l '\sspi[0-9] {' Documentation/devicetree/ | xargs sed -i -e 's/spi[0-9] {/spi {/' With this, a few errors in examples were exposed and fixed.
