* ASoC: dt-bindings: Extend name-prefix.yaml into common DAI propertiesKrzysztof Kozlowski2022-12-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Rename name-prefix.yaml into common DAI schema and document '#sound-dai-cells' for completeness. The '#sound-dai-cells' cannot be really constrained, as there are users with value of 0, 1 and 2, but at least it brings definition to one common place. * dt-bindings: Remove 'Device Tree Bindings' from end of title:Andrew Lunn2022-08-251-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | As indicated in link: https://lore.kernel.org/all/20220822204945.GA808626-robh@kernel.org/ DT schema files should not have 'Device Tree Binding' as part of there title: line. Remove this in most .yaml files, so hopefully preventing developers copying it into new .yaml files, and being asked to remove it. * dt-bindings: Drop redundant minItems/maxItemsRob Herring2021-06-211-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If a property has an 'items' list, then a 'minItems' or 'maxItems' with the same size as the list is redundant and can be dropped. Note that is DT schema specific behavior and not standard json-schema behavior. The tooling will fixup the final schema adding any unspecified minItems/maxItems. This condition is partially checked with the meta-schema already, but only if both 'minItems' and 'maxItems' are equal to the 'items' length. An improved meta-schema is pending. * ASoC: dt-bindings: Move port/ports properties out of audio-graph-port.yamlRob Herring2021-03-311-5/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Users of the audio-graph-port schema need to define how many ports and what each port is, so they need to define 'ports' and/or 'port' anyways. Let's drop 'ports' and 'port' from the schema and adjust users to reference audio-graph-port.yaml from a port property. * dt-bindings: Another round of adding missing 'additionalProperties'Rob Herring2020-10-061-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Another round of wack-a-mole. The json-schema default is additional unknown properties are allowed, but for DT all properties should be defined. * dt-bindings: Remove more cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring2020-08-141-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Another wack-a-mole pass of killing off unnecessary 'allOf + $ref' usage. json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works. This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
* ASoC: dt-bindings: tegra: Add DT bindings for Tegra210Sameer Pujar2020-07-201-0/+101
This patch adds YAML schema for DT binding of AHUB and few of its following components. These devices will be registered as ASoC components and binding will be used on Tegra210 and later chips. * ADMAIF * I2S * DMIC * DSPK DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=nvidia.com; s=n1; t=1595134894; bh=DX96zRQRNplPikN828HbAfbjGumAn9IgtktrsenKjgk=; h=X-PGP-Universal:From:To:CC:Subject:Date:Message-ID:X-Mailer: In-Reply-To:References:X-NVConfidentiality:MIME-Version: Content-Type; b=IhfGFjMxsnRHso1Ku2GEGC+mtLCy3AbRKPfgTS56XGqEWquUr/1s8n9tFpriqF7a+ tJGrTN9mKhRQGrwdey/AHsMY4Tbm4fKEWxIASgAV/lFPCfgP3BnVjEdHclc7FdBaB0 Qvd3zs8HFsgoIzksLrtHNMrUepkeZajn0/XnC7nghGDRim4+6Hauupr5kj/KVlihsS KS1YQ2Zz9TZzLaC5QXALiHj3ATLvBFrmIf6Vj19q7hePt0menTZVzQNy+y3h4xZfLH +OvBCsLgHGGhq+iM9rm64D+S5Op2vCslwq3Q/42TnYZ0vDbD7aA9nTAQzfYeI6HK6b vi7eYbryzCTSg== Signed-off-by: Sameer Pujar <spujar@nvidia.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/1595134890-16470-2-git-send-email-spujar@nvidia.com Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
