* ASoC: dt-bindings: More dropping unneeded quotesRob Herring2023-05-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | Another batch of dropping unneeded quotes on $id and $schema which were missed in the last round. Once all these are fixed, checking for this can be enabled in yamllint. * dt-bindings: drop redundant part of title (end, part three)Krzysztof Kozlowski2022-12-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The Devicetree bindings document does not have to say in the title that it is a "binding", but instead just describe the hardware. Drop trailing "bindings" in various forms (also with trailing full stop): find Documentation/devicetree/bindings/ -type f -name '*.yaml' \ -not -name 'trivial-devices.yaml' \ -exec sed -i -e 's/^title: \(.*\) [bB]indings\?\.\?$/title: \1/' {} \; Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org> Acked-by: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Matti Vaittinen <mazziesaccount@gmail.com> # ROHM Acked-by: Ulf Hansson <ulf.hansson@linaro.org> # MMC Acked-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@kernel.org> # clk Acked-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com> # input Acked-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org> Acked-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil-cisco@xs4all.nl> # media Acked-by: Sebastian Reichel <sre@kernel.org> # power Acked-by: Viresh Kumar <viresh.kumar@linaro.org> # cpufreq Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20221216163815.522628-7-krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
* ASoC: dt-bindings: qcom,q6afe: Split to separate schemaKrzysztof Kozlowski2022-11-281-37/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | The APR/GPR bindings with services got complicated so move out the Q6AFE service to its own binding. Previously the compatible was documented in qcom,apr.yaml. Move most of the examples from its children to this new file. * ASoC: dt-bindings: qcom,q6dsp-lpass-clocks: cleanup exampleKrzysztof Kozlowski2022-09-141-7/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | Cleanup the example DTS by adding APR and service compatibles, adding typical properties, using proper device node names for services and fixing indentation to 4-spaces. * dt-bindings: soc: qcom: apr: correct service childrenKrzysztof Kozlowski2022-09-141-12/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | The APR bindings were not describing properly children nodes for DAIs. None of the DTSes use unit addresses for the children, so correct the nodes and reference their schema: clock-controller, dais and routing. * ASoC: dt-bindings: lpass-clocks: add q6prm clocks compatibleSrinivas Kandagatla2021-10-261-0/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | On AudioReach audio Framework access to LPASS ports is via Q6PRM (Proxy Resource Manager) service, so add a dedicated lpass-clock compatible string for this. * ASoC: dt-bindings: move LPASS clocks related bindings out of q6afeSrinivas Kandagatla2021-10-261-0/+56
q6afe (Audio Front End) is one of the DSP service that handles both LPASS (Low Power Audio SubSystem) Audio ports and LPASS clocks. As LPASS is a hardwware IP and commonly used by Qualcomm Audio DSP. In order to allow multiple DSP frameworks to use these bindings its best to move it out from the dsp specific bindings. For compatibility reasons and not breaking which is already working we still maintain same compatible string "qcom,q6afe-clocks" Also as part of this change convert these LPASS clocks related bindings into yaml format.
