a9ecdc0fdc54 ("of/irq: Fix lookup to use 'interrupts-extended' property
first") updated the description to say that:
- Both 'interrupts' and 'interrupts-extended' may be present
- Software should prefer 'interrupts-extended'
- Software that doesn't comprehend 'interrupts-extended' may use
'interrupts'
But there is still a paragraph at the end that prohibits having both and
says 'interrupts' should be preferred.
Remove the contradictory text.

41e5c0f81d3e ("of/pci: Add pci_get_new_domain_nr() and
of_get_pci_domain_nr()") added parsing of the "linux,pci-domain" property,
but didn't add the binding documentation.
Since this property will be supported by a number of host bridge drivers,
add it to the common PCI binding doc.

"The most notable is the revert of lock splitting optimization in ahci.
This also made the IRQ handling threaded even when there's only one
IRQ in use. The conversion missed IRFQ_SHARED leading to screaming
IRQs problem in some cases and the threaded IRQ handling showed
performance regression in some LKP test cases. The changes are
reverted for now. It'll probably be retried once threaded IRQ
handling is removed from ahci.
Other than that, there's one fix for ahci and several patches adding

sockets. The problem was the synchronize_net() invoked for every

10) In qdisc_create(), use the correct interface to allocate

With legacy booting, the platform init code was taking care of
the configuring of GPIOs. With device tree based booting, things
may or may not work depending what bootloader has configured or
if the legacy platform code gets called.
Let's add support for the pwrdn and reset GPIOs to the smc91x
driver to fix the issues of smc91x not working properly when
booted in device tree mode.
And let's change n900 to use these settings as some versions
of the bootloader do not configure things properly causing
errors.

When posting a patch series that includes both code implementing a
Device Tree binding and its associated documentation, the DT docs
should come in the series before the implementation.
This not only avoids checkpatch.pl to complain about undocumented
bindings but also makes the review process easier.
Document this convention since it may not be obvious.

temp, so the LOW ALARM will be triggered once irq is enabled,
so we need to correct it before enabling thermal irq;
Enable PANIC ALARM as critical trip point, it will trigger
system reset via SRC module once PANIC IRQ is triggered, it
is pure hardware function, so use it instead of software
reset by cooling device.

The rk3288 has the ability to invert the polarity of the PWM. Let's
enable that ability. Note that this increases pwm_cells to 3 for

operating system device driver can handle all variants of the device.

Pull MTD update from Brian Norris:
"Sorry for delaying this a bit later than usual. There's one mild
regression from 3.16 that was noticed during the 3.17 cycle, and I
meant to send a fix for it along with this pull request. I'll
probably try to queue it up for a later pull request once I've had a
better look at it, hopefully by -rc2 at the latest.

Previously, the only way to map a NOR device as a simple ROM was to
use the obsolete "direct-mapped" compatible binding (which further
requires device_type = "nor" and probe-type = "NOR" properties).
This patch adds an "mtd-rom" compatible binding to the "map_rom"
probe type.

Retrieve the NFC clock to make sure it is enabled. Make that optional to ensure
compatibility with previous device trees but document it as mandatory so newer
device trees will include it.
