* i2c-piix4: Add Hygon Dhyana SMBus supportPu Wen2019-05-031-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | The Hygon Dhyana CPU has the SMBus device with PCI device ID 0x790b, which is the same as AMD CZ SMBus device. So add Hygon Dhyana support to the i2c-piix4 driver by using the code path of AMD. * Documentation: update broken web addresses.Justin P. Mattock2010-08-041-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Below you will find an updated version from the original series bunching all patches into one big patch updating broken web addresses that are located in Documentation/* Some of the addresses date as far far back as 1995 etc... so searching became a bit difficult, the best way to deal with these is to use web.archive.org to locate these addresses that are outdated. Now there are also some addresses pointing to .spec files some are located, but some(after searching on the companies site)where still no where to be found. In this case I just changed the address to the company site this way the users can contact the company and they can locate them for the users. Signed-off-by: Justin P. * i2c-piix4: Fix SB700 PCI device IDShane Huang2007-08-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | We find that SB700 and SB800 use the same SMBus device ID as SB600, which is 0x4385, instead of the already submitted 0x4395. Besides removing the wrong SB700 device ID, add SB800 support to kernel, by renaming the PCI_DEVICE_ID_ATI_IXP600_SMBUS into PCI_DEVICE_ID_ATI_SBX00_SMBUS. * [PATCH] I2C: i2c-piix4: Remove the fix_hstcfg parameterRudolf Marek2006-06-221-6/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes the fix_hstcfg option from the driver and related SMBus Interrupt Select register magic because now we know what are valid values for this register. This patch updates the documentation and adds new IRQ mode check so we are sure not to miss any new "unusual" value. The PCI quirk for users of fix_hstcfg was not developed because the chipset lacks of subsystem ID registers and DMI is stated "To be filled". Impact to existing systems is minimal because the problem showed up on motherboards like 10 years back. On the other hand users of newer Serverworks and HT1000 systems won't be misleaded by the message suggesting to try the fix_hstcfg any more. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
