* proc_usb_info.txt: Correct documentation about endianness of config descriptorsHans de Goede2013-08-121-3/+6
| | | | | | | | The config descriptors as read from /proc/bus/usb/BBB/DDD are in *bus* endian format. Correct proc_usb_info.txt to correctly reflect that. Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

* USB: teach "devices" file about Wireless and SuperSpeed USBAlan Stern2010-10-221-12/+22
| | | | | | | | | | | | The /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices file doesn't know about Wireless or SuperSpeed USB. This patch (as1416b) teaches it, and updates the Documentation/usb/proc_sub_info.txt file accordingly. * USB: fix comment about endianness of descriptorsPhil Endecott2008-12-171-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes a comment and clarifies the documentation about the endianness of descriptors. The current policy is that descriptors will be little-endian at the API even on big-endian systems; however the /proc/bus/usb API predates this policy and presents descriptors with some multibyte fields byte-swapped. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
