This is an entirely new driver instead of yet another set of patches
to sb_edac.c because:
1) Mapping from PCI devices to socket/memory controller is significantly
different. Skylake scatters devices on a socket across a number of
PCI buses.
2) There is an extra level of interleaving via the "mcroute" register
that would be a little messy to squeeze into the old driver.
3) Validation is getting too expensive. Changes to sb_edac need to
be checked against Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge, Haswell, Broadwell and
Knights Landing.

Pull ARM SoC fixes from Arnd Bergmann:
"A couple of bug fixes have come in for v4.8 so far. Since the first
few were originally meant to go into -rc1 (but didn't get sent in time
for travel reasons), the branch is unfortunately based on top of a
commit in the middle of the merge window rather than -rc1.
Content-wise we have:
- a fix for the last remaining broken build in kernelci, getting
mach-shmobile to build again with SMP disabled
- a fix for a realview regression that broke real hardware but not
the qemu model that everyone uses in practice (needed for v4.7 as
well)
- a merge conflict fix for Tegra that also broke v4.7
- two Kconfig fixes for arm64 build regressions
- a couple of arm32 build warning fixes (all harmless)
- fix the RTC on Exynos7 Espresso (which apparently never worked
right)"

Pull MIPS updates from Ralf Baechle:
"This is the main pull request for MIPS for 4.8. Also includes is a
minor SSB cleanup as SSB code traditionally is merged through the MIPS
tree:
ATH25:
- MIPS: Add default configuration for ath25
Boot:
- For zboot, copy appended dtb to the end of the kernel
- store the appended dtb address in a variable
BPF:
- Fix off by one error in offset allocation
Cobalt code:
- Fix typos
Core code:
- debugfs_create_file returns NULL on error, so don't use IS_ERR for
testing for errors.
- Fix double locking issue in RM7000 S-cache code. This would only
affect RM7000 ARC systems on reboot.
- Fix page table corruption on THP permission changes.
- Use compat_sys_keyctl for 32 bit userspace on 64 bit kernels.
David says, there are no compatibility issues raised by this fix.
- Move some signal code around.
- Rewrite r4k count/compare clockevent device registration such that
min_delta_ticks/max_delta_ticks files are guaranteed to be
initialized.
- Only register r4k count/compare as clockevent device if we can
assume the clock to be constant.
- Fix MSA asm warnings in control reg accessors
- uasm and tlbex fixes and tweaking.
- Print segment physical address when EU=1.
- Define AT_VECTOR_SIZE_ARCH for ARCH_DLINFO.
- CP: Allow booting by VP other than VP 0
- Cache handling fixes and optimizations for r4k class caches
- Add hotplug support for R6 processors
- Cleanup hotplug bits in kconfig
- traps: return correct si code for accessing nonmapped addresses
- Remove cpu_has_safe_index_cacheops
Lantiq:
- Register IRQ handler for virtual IRQ number
- Fix EIU interrupt loading code
- Use the real EXIN count
- Fix build error.
Loongson 3:
- Increase HPET_MIN_PROG_DELTA and decrease HPET_MIN_CYCLES
Octeon:
- Delete built-in DTB pruning code for D-Link DSR-1000N.
- Clean up GPIO definitions in dlink_dsr-1000n.dts.
- Add more LEDs to the DSR-100n DTS
- Fix off by one in octeon_irq_gpio_map()
- Typo fixes
- Enable SATA by default in cavium_octeon_defconfig
- Support readq/writeq()
- Remove forced mappings of USB interrupts.
- Ensure DMA descriptors are always in the low 4GB
- Improve USB reset code for OCTEON II.
Pistachio:
- Add maintainers entry for pistachio SoC Support
- Remove plat_setup_iocoherency
Ralink:
- Fix pwm UART in spis group pinmux.
SSB:
- Change bare unsigned to unsigned int to suit coding style
Tools:
- Fix reloc tool compiler warnings.
Other:
- Delete use of ARCH_WANT_OPTIONAL_GPIOLIB"

This script automates testing doorbells, scratchpads and memory windows
for an NTB device. It can be run locally, with the NTB looped
back to the same host or use SSH to remotely control the second host.
In the single host case, the script just needs to be passed two
arguments: a PCI ID for each side of the link. In the two host case
the -r option must be used to specify the remote hostname (which must
be SSH accessible and should probably have ssh-keys exchanged).
A sample run looks like this:

Pull base rdma updates from Doug Ledford:
"Round one of 4.8 code: while this is mostly normal, there is a new
driver in here (the driver was hosted outside the kernel for several
years and is actually a fairly mature and well coded driver). It
amounts to 13,000 of the 16,000 lines of added code in here.
Summary:
- Updates/fixes for iw_cxgb4 driver
- Updates/fixes for mlx5 driver
- Add flow steering and RSS API
- Add hardware stats to mlx4 and mlx5 drivers
- Add firmware version API for RDMA driver use
- Add the rxe driver (this is a software RoCE driver that makes any
Ethernet device a RoCE device)
- Fixes for i40iw driver
- Support for send only multicast joins in the cma layer
- Other minor fixes"

Soft RoCE (RXE) - The software RoCE driver
ib_rxe implements the RDMA transport and registers to the RDMA core
device as a kernel verbs provider. It also implements the packet IO
layer. On the other hand ib_rxe registers to the Linux netdev stack
as a udp encapsulating protocol, in that case RDMA, for sending and
receiving packets over any Ethernet device. This yields a RDMA
transport over the UDP/Ethernet network layer forming a RoCEv2
compatible device.
The configuration procedure of the Soft RoCE drivers requires
binding to any existing Ethernet network device. This is done with
/sys interface.
A userspace Soft RoCE library (librxe) provides user applications
the ability to run with Soft RoCE devices. The use of rxe verbs ins
user space requires the inclusion of librxe as a device specifics
plug-in to libibverbs. librxe is packaged separately.

This driver is a pick up of the old IBM VIO scsi Target Driver
that was started by Nick and Fujita 2-4 years ago.
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.scsi/90119
The driver provides a virtual SCSI device on IBM Power Servers.
This patch contains the fifth version for an initial merge of the
tcm ibmvscsis driver. More information on this driver and config

Copy the config fragments from the AOSP common kernel android-4.4
branch. It is becoming possible to run mainline kernels with Android,
but the kernel defconfigs don't work as-is and debugging missing config
options is a pain. Adding the config fragments into the kernel tree,
makes configuring a mainline kernel as simple as:
make ARCH=arm multi_v7_defconfig android-base.config android-recommended.config
The following non-upstream config options were removed:

CONFIG_NETFILTER_XT_MATCH_QUOTA2

The header file "include/linux/nilfs2_fs.h" is composed of parts for
ioctl and disk format, and both are intended to be shared with user
space programs.
This moves them to the uapi directory "include/uapi/linux" splitting the
file to "nilfs2_api.h" and "nilfs2_ondisk.h". The following minor
changes are accompanied by this migration:
- nilfs_direct_node struct in nilfs2/direct.h is converged to
nilfs2_ondisk.h because it's an on-disk structure.
- inline functions nilfs_rec_len_from_disk() and
nilfs_rec_len_to_disk() are moved to nilfs2/dir.c.

The Axis ARTPEC-6 SoC integrates a PCIe controller from Synopsys. Add a
new driver that provides the small glue needed to use the existing
DesignWare driver to make it work on the Axis ARTPEC-6 SoC.

This patch allows to build the whole kernel with GCC plugins. It was ported from
grsecurity/PaX. The infrastructure supports building out-of-tree modules and
building in a separate directory. Cross-compilation is supported too.
Currently the x86, arm, arm64 and uml architectures enable plugins.
The directory of the gcc plugins is scripts/gcc-plugins. You can use a file or a directory
there. The plugins compile with these options:
* -fno-rtti: gcc is compiled with this option so the plugins must use it too
* -fno-exceptions: this is inherited from gcc too
* -fasynchronous-unwind-tables: this is inherited from gcc too
* -ggdb: it is useful for debugging a plugin (better backtrace on internal
errors)
* -Wno-narrowing: to suppress warnings from gcc headers (ipa-utils.h)
* -Wno-unused-variable: to suppress warnings from gcc headers (gcc_version
variable, plugin-version.h)
The infrastructure introduces a new Makefile target called gcc-plugins. It
supports all gcc versions from 4.5 to 6.0. The scripts/gcc-plugin.sh script
chooses the proper host compiler (gcc-4.7 can be built by either gcc or g++).
This script also checks the availability of the included headers in
scripts/gcc-plugins/gcc-common.h.
The gcc-common.h header contains frequently included headers for GCC plugins
and it has a compatibility layer for the supported gcc versions.
The gcc-generate-*-pass.h headers automatically generate the registration
structures for GIMPLE, SIMPLE_IPA, IPA and RTL passes.
Note that 'make clean' keeps the *.so files (only the distclean or mrproper
targets clean all) because they are needed for out-of-tree modules.
Based on work created by the PaX Team.

Again a pile of things all over
- Conversion to rst from docbook from Jani. Looks real pretty, and the
source is now actually readable (compared to horrible, horrible docbook
xml)! https://01.org/linuxgraphics/gfx-docs/drm/
- device register/unregister rework from Chris, with follow-up work from
Benjamin. Allows more drivers to demidlayer load/unload and others to
remove a bit of boilerplate.
- master/auth related cleanup, with docs
- some dma-buf polish, merged by Sumit
- small stuff all over (like build fixes from Arnd)
Group maintainership seems to slowly take off, with both Thierry and Sumit
pushing a few things. No hiccups thus far.

Frist -misc pull for 4.8, with pretty much just random all over plus a few
more lockless gem BO patches acked/reviewed by driver maintainers.
I'm starting a bit earlier this time around because there's a few invasive
patch series to land (nonblocking atomic prep work, fence prep work,
rst/sphinx kerneldoc finally happening) and I need a baseline with all the
branches merged.
