Convert the Dynamic Interrupt Moderation doc to RST and

This sorts the actual field names too, potentially causing even more
chaos and confusion at merge time if you have edited the MAINTAINERS
file. But the end result is a more consistent layout, and hopefully
it's a one-time pain minimized by doing this just before the -rc1
release.

They are all supposed to be sorted, but people who add new entries don't
always know the alphabet. Plus sometimes the entry names get edited,
and people don't then re-order the entry.
Let's see how painful this will be for merging purposes (the MAINTAINERS
file is often edited in various different trees), but Joe claims there's
relatively few patches in -next that touch this, and doing it just
before -rc1 is likely the best time. Fingers crossed.
This was scripted with
/scripts/parse-maintainers.pl --input=MAINTAINERS --output=MAINTAINERS
but then I also ended up manually upper-casing a few entry names that
stood out when looking at the end result.

For security reasons I stopped using gmail account and kernel address is
now up-to-date alias to my personal address.

Pull libnvdimm and dax updates from Dan Williams:
"There were multiple touches outside of drivers/nvdimm/ this round to
add cross arch compatibility to the devm_memremap_pages() interface,
enhance numa information for persistent memory ranges, and add a
zero_page_range() dax operation.
This cycle I switched from the patchwork api to Konstantin's b4 script
for collecting tags (from x86, PowerPC, filesystem, and device-mapper
folks), and everything looks to have gone ok there. This has all
appeared in -next with no reported issues.
Summary:
- Add support for region alignment configuration and enforcement to
fix compatibility across architectures and PowerPC page size
configurations.
- Introduce 'zero_page_range' as a dax operation. This facilitates
filesystem-dax operation without a block-device.
- Introduce phys_to_target_node() to facilitate drivers that want to
know resulting numa node if a given reserved address range was
onlined.
- Advertise a persistence-domain for of_pmem and papr_scm. The
persistence domain indicates where cpu-store cycles need to reach
in the platform-memory subsystem before the platform will consider
them power-fail protected.
- Promote numa_map_to_online_node() to a cross-kernel generic
facility.
- Save x86 numa information to allow for node-id lookups for reserved
memory ranges, deploy that capability for the e820-pmem driver.
- Pick up some miscellaneous minor fixes, that missed v5.6-final,
including a some smatch reports in the ioctl path and some unit

The git history shows that the files under ./tools/testing/nvdimm are
being developed and maintained by the LIBNVDIMM maintainers.
This was identified with a small script that finds all files only
belonging to "THE REST" according to the current MAINTAINERS file, and I
acted upon its output.

We have both vhost and virtio drivers that depend on vdpa.
It's easier to locate it at a top level directory otherwise
we run into issues e.g. if vhost is built-in but virtio
is modular. Let's just move it up a level.

vDPA device is a device that uses a datapath which complies with the
virtio specifications with vendor specific control path. vDPA devices
can be both physically located on the hardware or emulated by
software. vDPA hardware devices are usually implemented through PCIE
with the following types:
- PF (Physical Function) - A single Physical Function
- VF (Virtual Function) - Device that supports single root I/O
virtualization (SR-IOV). Its Virtual Function (VF) represents a
virtualized instance of the device that can be assigned to different
partitions
- ADI (Assignable Device Interface) and its equivalents - With
technologies such as Intel Scalable IOV, a virtual device (VDEV)
composed by host OS utilizing one or more ADIs. Or its equivalent
like SF (Sub function) from Mellanox.
>From a driver's perspective, depends on how and where the DMA
translation is done, vDPA devices are split into two types:
- Platform specific DMA translation - From the driver's perspective,
the device can be used on a platform where device access to data in
memory is limited and/or translated. An example is a PCIE vDPA whose
DMA request was tagged via a bus (e.g PCIE) specific way. DMA
translation and protection are done at PCIE bus IOMMU level.
- Device specific DMA translation - The device implements DMA
isolation and protection through its own logic. An example is a vDPA
device which uses on-chip IOMMU.
To hide the differences and complexity of the above types for a vDPA
device/IOMMU options and in order to present a generic virtio device
to the upper layer, a device agnostic framework is required.
This patch introduces a software vDPA bus which abstracts the
common attributes of vDPA device, vDPA bus driver and the
communication method (vdpa_config_ops) between the vDPA device
abstraction and the vDPA bus driver. This allows multiple types of
drivers to be used for vDPA device like the virtio_vdpa and vhost_vdpa
driver to operate on the bus and allow vDPA device could be used by
either kernel virtio driver or userspace vhost drivers as:

With the abstraction of vDPA bus and vDPA bus operations, the
difference and complexity of the under layer hardware is hidden from
upper layer. The vDPA bus drivers on top can use a unified
vdpa_config_ops to control different types of vDPA device.

This patch factors out IOTLB into a dedicated module in order to be
reused by other modules like vringh. User may choose to enable the
automatic retiring by specifying VHOST_IOTLB_FLAG_RETIRE flag to fit
for the case of vhost device IOTLB implementation.

The MAINTAINERS file header has never shown a preferred order for the
section entries but scripts/parse-maintainers.pl added a preferred order
with commit 61f741645a35 ("parse-maintainers: Add section pattern
sorting")
Commit 5cdbec108fd2 ("parse-maintainers: Do not sort section content by
default") changed the preferred order to be a bit more sensible.
Update the MAINTAINERS section description block to use this preferred
section entry ordering.

"Slightly late as I had to rebase mid-week to insert a bug fix:
- A large series from Nick for 64-bit to further rework our exception
vectors, and rewrite portions of the syscall entry/exit and
interrupt return in C. The result is much easier to follow code
that is also faster in general.
- Cleanup of our ptrace code to split various parts out that had
become badly intertwined with #ifdefs over the years.
- Changes to our NUMA setup under the PowerVM hypervisor which should
hopefully avoid non-sensical topologies which can lead to warnings
from the workqueue code and other problems.
- MAINTAINERS updates to remove some of our old orphan entries and
update the status of others.
- Quite a few other small changes and fixes all over the map.

he's moved on to other things.

A while back Paul pointed out I'd been maintaining the tree more or
less solo for over five years, so perhaps it's time to update the
MAINTAINERS entry.
Ben & Paul still wrote most of the code, so keep them as Reviewers so
they still get Cc'ed on things. But if you're wondering why your patch
hasn't been merged that's my fault.

Pull clk updates from Stephen Boyd:
"There's not much to see in the core framework this time around.
Instead the majority of the diff is the normal collection of driver
additions for new SoCs and non-critical clk data fixes and updates.
The framework must be middle aged.
The two biggest directories in the diffstat show that the Qualcomm and
Unisoc support added a handful of big drivers for new SoCs but that's
not really the whole story because those new drivers tend to add large
numbers of lines of clk data. There's a handful of AT91 clk drivers
added this time around too and a bunch of improvements to drivers like
the i.MX driver. All around lots of updates and fixes in various clk
drivers which is good to see.
The core framework has only one real major change which has been
baking in next for the past couple months. It fixes the framework so
that it stops caching a clk's phase when the phase clk_op returns an
error. Before this change we would consider some negative errno as a
phase and that just doesn't make sense.
Core:
- Don't show clk phase when it is invalid
New Drivers:
- Add support for Unisoc SC9863A clks
- Qualcomm SM8250 RPMh and MSM8976 RPM clks
- Qualcomm SM8250 Global Clock Controller (GCC) support
- Qualcomm SC7180 Modem Clock Controller (MSS CC) support
- EHRPWM's TimeBase clock(TBCLK) for TI AM654 SoCs
- Support PMC clks on at91sam9n12, at91rm9200, sama5d3, and

- Fixes and improvements for the Marvell MMP2/MMP3 SoC clk drivers
- A series from Anson to convert i.MX8 clock bindings to json-schema
- Update i.MX pll14xx driver to include new frequency entries for
pll1443x table, and return error for invalid PLL type
- Add missing of_node_put() call for a number of i.MX clock drivers
- Drop flag CLK_IS_CRITICAL from 'A53_CORE' mux clock, as we already
have the flag on its child cpu clock
- Fix a53 cpu clock for i.MX8 drivers to get it source from ARM PLL
via CORE_SEL slice, and source from A53 CCM clk root when we need
to change ARM PLL frequency. Thus, we can support core running
above 1GHz safely
- Update i.MX pfdv2 driver to check zero rate and use determine_rate
for getting the best rate
- Add CLKO2 for imx8mm, SNVS clock for imx8mn, and PXP clock for
imx7d
- Remove PMC clks from Tegra clk driver
- Improved clock/reset handling for the Renesas R-Car USB2 Clock
Selector
- Conversion to json-schema of the Renesas CPG/MSSR DT bindings
- Add Crypto clocks on Renesas R-Car M3-W/W+, M3-N, E3, and D3
- Add RPC (QSPI/HyperFLASH) clocks on Renesas R-Car H3, M3-W/W+, and
M3-N
- Update Amlogic audio clock gate hierarchy for meson8 and gxbb
- Update Amlogic g12a spicc clock sources
