* ARM: dts: samsung: Rename Samsung and Exynos to lowercaseKrzysztof Kozlowski2020-01-071-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix up inconsistent usage of upper and lowercase letters in "Samsung" and "Exynos" names. "SAMSUNG" and "EXYNOS" are not abbreviations but regular trademarked names. Therefore they should be written with lowercase letters starting with capital letter. The lowercase "Exynos" name is promoted by its manufacturer Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., in advertisement materials and on website. Although advertisement materials usually use uppercase "SAMSUNG", the lowercase version is used in all legal aspects (e.g. on Wikipedia and in privacy/legal statements on https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/privacy-global/). * ARM: dts: exynos: Use stdout-path property instead of console in bootargsKrzysztof Kozlowski2019-04-101-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Replacing bootargs with stdout-path property in chosen node allows using early console by adding just 'earlycon' parameter to the kernel command line. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Reviewed-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix dtc warnings for 'simple_bus_reg' due to leading 0s. Converted using the following command: perl -p -i -e 's/\@0+([0-9a-f])/\@$1/g' `find arch/arm/boot/dts -type -f -name '*.dts*' Dropped changes to ARM, Ltd. boards LED nodes and manually fixed up some occurrences of uppercase hex. * | ARM: dts: exynos: Remove skeleton.dtsi usage for Exynos5Javier Martinez Canillas2016-09-011-0/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The skeleton.dtsi file was removed in ARM64 for different reasons as explained in commit ("3ebee5a2e141 arm64: dts: kill skeleton.dtsi"). These also applies to ARM and it will also allow to get rid of the following DTC warnings in the future: "Node /memory has a reg or ranges property, but no unit name" The disassembled DTB are almost the same besides an empty chosen node being removed and nodes reordered, so it should not have functional changes. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | dw-mmc in exynos dw-mmc controller can support multiple slots. But, there are no use-cases anywhere. So we don't need to support the slot-node for dw-mmc controller.
