* ARM: dts: sun7i: Provide default muxing for relevant controllersMaxime Ripard2018-11-281-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | The I2C and MMC controllers have only one muxing option in the SoC. In such a case, we can just move the muxing into the DTSI, and remove it from the DTS. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
* ARM: dts: sun7i: Change pinctrl nodes to avoid warningMaxime Ripard2018-11-281-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | All our pinctrl nodes were using a node name convention with a unit-address to differentiate the different muxing options. However, since those nodes didn't have a reg property, they were generating warnings in DTC. In order to accomodate for this, convert the old nodes to the syntax we've been using for the new SoCs, including removing the letter suffix of the node labels to the bank of those pins to make things more readable. * ARM: dts: sun7i: Remove all useless pinctrl nodesMaxime Ripard2018-11-281-9/+0
| | | | | | | | | The gpio pinctrl nodes are redundant and as such useless most of the times. Since they will also generate warnings in DTC, we can simply remove most of them. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
* ARM: dts: sunxi: Switch MMC nodes away from cd-inverted propertyTuomas Tynkkynen2018-02-131-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Using the cd-inverted property is not useful when GPIOs are used as card detects since the polarity can be specified with the usual GPIO_ACTIVE_(HIGH|LOW) GPIO flags. It has also caused confusion for U-Boot developers, so migrate all sunxi boards away from cd-inverted. * ARM: sunxi: Drop mmc0_cd_pin_reference_design pinmux settingChen-Yu Tsai2017-05-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | As part of our effort to move pinctrl/GPIO interlocking into the driver where it belongs, this patch drops the definition and usage of the mmc0_cd_pin_reference_design pinmux setting for the default mmc0 card detect GPIO pin. * ARM: dts: sunxi: Remove no longer used pinctrl/sun4i-a10.h headerChen-Yu Tsai2017-03-271-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | All dts files for the sunxi platform have been switched to the generic pinconf bindings. As a result, the sunxi specific pinctrl macros are no longer used. Remove the #include entry with the following command: sed --follow-symlinks -i -e '/pinctrl\/sun4i-a10.h/D' \ arch/arm/boot/dts/sun?i*.* arch/arm/boot/dts/sun9i-a80.dtsi was then edited to remove the extra empty line. * ARM: sunxi: Convert pinctrl nodes to generic bindingsMaxime Ripard2016-12-261-2/+2
| | | | | | | | Now that we can handle the generic pinctrl bindings, convert our DT to it. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Reviewed-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ARM: sunxi: Remove useless allwinner, pull propertyMaxime Ripard2016-12-261-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | The allwinner, pull property set to NO_PULL was really considered our default (and wasn't even changing the default value in the code). Remove these properties to make it obvious that we do not set anything in such a case. * ARM: sunxi: Remove useless allwinner, drive propertyMaxime Ripard2016-12-261-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | The allwinner, drive property set to 10mA was really considered as our default. Remove all those properties entirely to make that obvious. * ARM: sunxi: dt: Remove the FSF addressMaxime Ripard2015-05-101-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The FSF address triggers a warning on checkpatch, saying that the FSF license is already present in the Linux source code, and that it has already changed in the past. Remove it from our DT, as suggested. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
* ARM: sunxi: dts: split IR pins for A10 and A20Marcus Cooper2015-05-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Currently none of the target boards nor the driver supports IR TX. However this pin is used in a few instances as a GPIO. Split the pin ctrl descriptions so that only the IR RX is configured to be used. Signed-off-by: Marcus Cooper <codekipper@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
* ARM: sunxi: DT: Add stdout-path propertyMaxime Ripard2015-04-271-0/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | Add UART aliases and stdout-path property for all the Allwinner boards so that we won't have to rely on the bootargs' console= value, while working with legacy bootloaders. While we're at it, also remove the mentions of earlyprintk in the bootargs, that will remove our default bootargs entirely, and allow the kernel to boot on a system even if DEBUG_LL is configured for another system. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
* ARM: sun7i: m3: Convert to DT label based syntaxMaxime Ripard2015-04-271-90/+88
| | | | | | | | In order to lessen the amount of duplication of the DT tree, ease the new and follow the trend that prefers to use label based references when overriding DTSI nodes, convert the board to this syntax Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
* ARM: sunxi: DT: Convert the DTs to use the generic interrupt headerMaxime Ripard2015-01-211-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | The NMI IRQ controller uses the standard flags definition for the IRQ level and edges. Use the common header to use defines instead of opaque numbers. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
* ARM: sunxi: DT: Convert the DTs to use a header for the pinctrl nodesMaxime Ripard2015-01-211-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | The pinctrl nodes require some extra opaque arguments for the pull up and drive strength values. Introduce a new header file and convert the device trees to replace these opaque numbers by defines. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
* ARM: sunxi: DT: convert DTs to use common GPIOs includesMaxime Ripard2015-01-211-2/+4

* ARM: sunxi: Fix GPLv2 wordingMaxime Ripard2014-10-271-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | During the GPL to GPL/X11 licensing migration, the GPL notice introduced mentionned the device trees as a library, which is not really accurate. It began to spread by copy and paste. Fix all these library mentions to reflect the file that it's actually just a file. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
* ARM: dts: sun7i: Add Mele M3 boardHans de Goede2014-10-201-0/+168
The Mele M3 is yet another Allwinnner based Android top set box from Mele. It uses a housing similar to the A2000, but without the USM sata storage slot at the top. It features an A20 SoC, 1G RAM, 4G eMMC (unique for Allwinner devices), 100Mbit ethernet, HDMI out, 3 USB A receptacles, VGA, and A/V OUT connections.
