* | ARM: Rename ARCH_SHMOBILE to ARCH_SHMOBILE_LEGACYLaurent Pinchart2013-12-101-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | SH-Mobile platforms are transitioning from non-multiplatform to multiplatform kernel. A new ARCH_SHMOBILE_MULTI configuration symbol has been created to group all multiplatform-enabled SH-Mobile SoCs. The existing ARCH_SHMOBILE configuration symbol groups SoCs that haven't been converted yet. This arrangement works fine for the arch/ code, but lots of drivers needed on both ARCH_SHMOBILE and ARCH_SHMOBILE_MULTI depend on ARCH_SHMOBILE only. In order to avoid changing them, rename ARCH_SHMOBILE to ARCH_SHMOBILE_LEGACY, and create a new boolean ARCH_SHMOBILE configuration symbol that is selected by both ARCH_SHMOBILE_LEGACY and ARCH_SHMOBILE_MULTI. * ARM: shmobile: armadillo800eva: enable all errata for cache on defconfigKuninori Morimoto2013-03-141-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | Some errata for cache had not enabled on current Armadillo800eva defconfig. This patch enables these. * ARM: shmobile: armadillo800eva: enable NEON on defconfigKuninori Morimoto2013-03-141-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The application / library will be stopped by illegal instruction on current Armaddilo800eva board, since defconfig doesn't have CONFIG_NEON. This patch enabled it. * ARM: shmobile: armadillo800eva: enable branch prediction on defconfigKuninori Morimoto2013-03-141-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Because defconfig disabled ARM branch prediction by CONFIG_CPU_BPREDICT_DISABLE, Armadillo800eva's Bogomips and Loop were not good performance. This patch enabled Arm branch prediction. * ARM: mach-shmobile: armadillo800eva: enable REGULATOR in defconfigSimon Horman2013-03-141-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | As well as being a generally sane thing to do this is required for MMCIF to function in conjunction with "ARM: shmobile: switch SDHI0 to GPIO regulator on armadillo800eva". Cc: Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms+renesas@verge.net.au>

* ARM: mach-shmobile: armadillo: update defconfigSimon Horman2013-01-151-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * Enable ARM_APPENDED_DTB Typically the bootloader of an armadillo board does not support DT so this option is useful. * Do not disable SUSPEND Suspend seems to work fine on the armadillo * Enable PM_RUNTIME This also seems to work fine. * Move command line to dts This brings us one small step closer to sharing defconfig between armadillo and other boards Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms+renesas@verge.net.au>

* | ARM: shmobile: armadillo800eva: enable rw rootfs mountKuninori Morimoto2012-09-031-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | armadillo800eva default boot loader is "hermit", and it's tag->u.core.flags has flag when kernel boots. Because of this, ${LINUX}/arch/arm/kernel/setup.c :: parse_tag_core() didn't remove MS_RDONLY flag from root_mountflags. Thus, the rootfs is mounted as "readonly". This patch adds "rw" kernel parameter, and enable read/write mounts for rootfs Cc: Masahiro Nakai <nakai@atmark-techno.com> Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms@verge.net.au>
