In the patch ("drm/panel-simple-edp: Split eDP panels out of
panel-simple") we will split the PANEL_SIMPLE driver in two. By
default let's give everyone who had the old driver enabled the new
driver too. If folks want to opt-out of one or the other they always
can later.

Pull USB and Thunderbolt updates from Greg KH:
"Here is the big set of USB and Thunderbolt driver changes for
5.12-rc1.
It's been an active set of development in these subsystems for the
past few months:
- loads of typec features added for new hardware
- xhci features and bugfixes
- dwc3 features added for more hardware support
- dwc2 fixes and new hardware support
- cdns3 driver updates for more hardware support
- gadget driver cleanups and minor fixes
- usb-serial fixes, new driver, and more devices supported
- thunderbolt feature additions for new hardware
- lots of other tiny fixups and additions
The chrome driver changes are in here as well, as they depended on
some of the typec changes, and the maintainer acked them.
All of these have been in linux-next for a while with no reported

The video decoder driver was tested by time and works absolutely fine.
The reason why it is in staging is because it doesn't provide common V4L
interface yet, this shouldn't stop driver enabling in the defconfig since
our userspace (libvdpau-tegra) provides combined acceleration of decoding
and displaying without use of V4L.

AT24C EEPROM:
This is used for the board ID EEPROM on Jetson TK1, as well as likely
a whole slew of other NVIDIA reference boards; we simply haven't added
enabled the EEPROM in the DT files until now.
MTD_SPI_NOR:
This defconfig contains the CONFIG_M25P80 symbol, which is now
dependent on the MTD_SPI_NOR symbol. Add CONFIG_MTD_SPI_NOR to satisfy
the new dependency.
FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE_ROTATION:
Needed for devices like Tegra Note 7 and NVIDIA SHIELD to get the boot
console in the expected orientation.

Toradex Colibri Evaluation Board uses the DS1307 RTC and the MCP251x CAN

this carrier board.
Furthermore the NVIDIA Tegra 3 based Apalis T30 module too contains two
MCP251x CAN controllers.

Pull ARM SoC board changes from Arnd Bergmann:
"As we continue to replace board files with device tree descriptions,
this part of the ARM support is getting smaller. We have basically
just defconfig changes here this time, and a significant number of
Renesas shmobile changes, as Renesas is still in the process of
deprecating board file support"

- ams AS3722 is used as system PMIC for Tegra124 based Venice2.
- NXP PCA9546 is used in Cardhu Tegra30 board to connect to 3 cameras.
- GSPCA to support the webcam on Venice2.
- Allocate 64 MiB for CMA by default; the default 16MiB is not enough
for the majority of use-cases. This can still be overridden by the cma
command-line option.

The last time tegra_defconfig was rebuilt, various LEDs options were
somehow selected by other options, and hence their entries in
tegra_defconfig were removed by "make savedefconfig". However, for some
reason this is no longer happening, so we need to add the entries back
into tegra_defconfig so the they are enabled in .config.
