* ARM: davinci: clean up platform supportArnd Bergmann2023-01-121-15/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | With the board file support gone, and the platform using DT only, a lot of the remaining code is no longer referenced and can be removed. Technically, the DT file only references DA850, but since that is very similar to DA830, I'm leaving the latter. * treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - gpl-2.0_56.RULE ↵Thomas Gleixner2022-06-101-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | (part 1) Based on the normalized pattern: this file is licensed under the terms of the gnu general public license version 2 this program is licensed as is without any warranty of any kind whether express or implied extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-only has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference. * ARM: davinci: remove include/mach/ subdirectoryArnd Bergmann2022-04-291-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The files in include/mach are only used from mach/davinci, so they are no longer needed in the traditional location. Move them to arch/arm/mach-davinci/ and drop the logic for the special include path. The mach/uncompress.h file is not used at all and can just be removed. * ARM: davinci: davinci_cfg_reg cannot be initArnd Bergmann2015-02-181-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | davinci_cfg_reg gets called from a lot of locations that might get called after the init section has been discarded, so the function itself must not be marked __init either. The kernel build currently warns about this with lots of messages like: WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text.unlikely+0x24c): Section mismatch in reference from the function dm365evm_mmc_configure() to the function .init.text:davinci_cfg_reg() The function dm365evm_mmc_configure() references the function __init davinci_cfg_reg(). This is often because dm365evm_mmc_configure lacks a __init annotation or the annotation of davinci_cfg_reg is wrong. This removes the extraneous __init_or_module annotation. * ARM: davinci: Use standard logging stylesJoe Perches2014-11-181-6/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Convert printks to pr_<level> and pr_warning to pr_warn. Other miscellanea: o Coalesce formats o Realign arguments o Use %s, __func__ instead of embedded function names o Add pr_fmt to mityomapl138 and mux Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com>
* Davinci: pinmux - use ioremap()Cyril Chemparathy2010-05-131-5/+12
| | | | | | | | This patch modifies the pinmux implementation so as to ioremap() the pinmux register area on first use. Signed-off-by: Cyril Chemparathy <cyril@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@deeprootsystems.com>
* Davinci: promote da8xx_pinmux_setup()Cyril Chemparathy2010-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | Rename da8xx_pinmux_setup() to davinci_cfg_reg_list() and promote it for use in other SOCs that may need the ability to configure multiple pins in one shot. Signed-off-by: Cyril Chemparathy <cyril@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@deeprootsystems.com>
* davinci: misc cleanups from sparseKevin Hilman2010-05-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | - Convert data/functions to static - include headers for missing declarations - pointer cleanups: struct foo *__iomem f --> struct foo __iomem *f; Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@deeprootsystems.com>
* DaVinci: remove unneeded #include'sSergei Shtylyov2009-11-251-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | There have accumulated quite a lot of them after the code reorganizations... In several cases I had to replace #include <linux/dma-mapping.h> which wasn't needed directly but happened to #include <linux/err.h> which was needed. * davinci: Rearrange the da830/omap-l137 macros and functionsSudhakar Rajashekhara2009-08-261-0/+14
| | | | | | | | | | Rearrange the PINMUX macros and pinmux_setup function which are common between da830/omap-l137 and da850/omap-l138. Also, replace the da830 string in function names to da8xx. * davinci: Move pinmux setup info to SoC infrastructureMark A. Greer2009-05-261-17/+7
| | | | | | | | | The pinmux register base and setup can be different for different SoCs so move the pinmux reg base, pinmux table (and its size) to the SoC infrastructure. Signed-off-by: Mark A. Greer <mgreer@mvista.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@deeprootsystems.com>
* davinci: update pin-multiplexing supportKevin Hilman2009-04-271-19/+80
| | | | | | | Update MUX support to be more general and useful across multiple SoCs in the DaVinci family. Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@deeprootsystems.com>
* davinci: add arch_ioremap() which uses existing static mappingsKevin Hilman2009-04-231-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | Add arch-specific ioremap() which uses any existing static mappings in place of doing a new mapping. From now on, drivers should always use ioremap() instead of IO_ADDRESS(). In addition, remove the davinci_[read|write]* macros in favor of using ioremap. Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@deeprootsystems.com>
* [ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King2008-08-071-2/+2
| | | | | | This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King2008-08-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h.
