* | ARM: gpio: convert includes of mach/gpio.h and asm/gpio.h to linux/gpio.hRussell King2011-08-081-2/+1
|/ | | | | | | | Convert arch/arm includes of mach/gpio.h and asm/gpio.h to linux/gpio.h before we start consolidating the individual platform implementations of the gpio header files. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

* arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre2010-10-201-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>

* net: convert print_mac to %pMJohannes Berg2008-10-281-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | This converts pretty much everything to print_mac. There were a few things that had conflicts which I have just dropped for now, no harm done. I've built an allyesconfig with this and looked at the files that weren't built very carefully, but it's a huge patch. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: David S. * i2c: Convert most new-style drivers to use module aliasingJean Delvare2008-04-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Based on earlier work by Jon Smirl and Jochen Friedrich. Update most new-style i2c drivers to use standard module aliasing instead of the old driver_name/type driver matching scheme. I've left the video drivers apart (except for SoC camera drivers) as they're a bit more diffcult to deal with, they'll have their own patch later. * leds: Standardise LED naming schemeRichard Purdie2008-02-071-4/+4
| | | | | | | | As discussed on LKML some notion of 'function' is needed in LED naming. This patch adds this to the documentation and standardises existing LED drivers. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <rpurdie@rpsys.net>
* [ARM] 4807/2: ixp4xx: Merge nslu2-power.c into nslu2-setup.cRod Whitby2008-02-041-6/+45
| | | | | | | | | | | | There is no reason to have power control in a separate file from the board setup code. Merge it back into the board setup file, removing superfluous header includes and removing superfluous constants from the machine header file. -- Signed-off-by: Rod Whitby <rod@whitby.id.au> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4806/1: ixp4xx: Ethernet support for the nslu2 and nas100d boardsRod Whitby2008-02-041-0/+44
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Enables the new ixp4xx qmgr and npe drivers in ixp4xx_defconfig. Sets up the corresponding platform data for the nslu2 and nas100d boards, and reads the ethernet MAC address from the internal flash. Tested on both little-endian and big-endian kernels. * [ARM] 4805/1: ixp4xx: Use leds-gpio driver instead of IXP4XX-GPIO-LED driverRod Whitby2008-02-041-20/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | These are the only three boards to use the IXP4XX-GPIO-LED driver, and they can all use the new leds-gpio driver instead with no change in functionality. -- Signed-off-by: Rod Whitby <rod@whitby.id.au> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4772/2: ixp4xx: Register nslu2 rtc i2c_board_infoRod Whitby2008-02-041-0/+10

* ixp4xx-i2c-gpioMichael-Luke Jones2008-01-271-6/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | Migrate all ixp4xx devices to the bitbanging I2C bus driver utilizing the arch-neutral GPIO API (linux/i2c-gpio.h). Tested by the nslu2-linux and openwrt projects in public firmware releases. * [ARM] 4406/1: Trivial NSLU2 / NAS-100D header & setup code cleanupMichael-Luke Jones2007-05-261-9/+10
| | | | | | | | | | This trivial patch updates the nslu2 and nas-100d headers to remove pointless GPIO defines, and updates nslu2-setup.c accordingly. In addition minor style cleanups to some comments are included. Signed-off-by: Michael-Luke Jones <mlj28@cam.ac.uk> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 4405/1: NSLU2, DSM-G600 frequency fixup codeMichael-Luke Jones2007-05-261-3/+15
| | | | | | | | | | This patch is required as the frequency fixup in nslu2_init does not run sufficiently early in the boot sequence to take effect. In addition the dsmg600 setup code behaviour has been improved such that a 'fixup' routine is avoided. * [ARM] 3597/1: ixp4xx/nslu2: Board support for new LED subsystemRod Whitby2006-06-221-1/+47
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Rod Whitby This patch implements NEW_LEDS support for the Linksys NSLU2. The NSLU2 has four LED indicators, which are the only form of output for an unmodified device - there is no keyboard or display on an NSLU2. For an NSLU2 which has been modified to bring out the serial port console, it is important to register that device first separately, to enable debugging of other device support. * [ARM] 3140/1: NSLU2 machine supportAlessandro Zummo2005-11-101-0/+134
Patch from Alessandro Zummo This patch adds support for the LinkSys NSLU2 running with both big and little-endian kernels. The LinkSys NSLU2 is a cost engineered ARM, XScale 420 based system similar to the the Intel IXDP425 evaluation board. It uses the IXP4XX ARCH. While this patch applies independently of other patches the resultant kernel requires further patches to successfully use onboard devices, including the onboard flash. Since these patches are independent of this one they will be submitted separately. A defconfig is not included here because not all of the required drivers are actually in the kernel. We intend to provide one as soon as the patches will be incorporated in mainstream.
