* [ARM] pxa: separate definitions from pxa-regs.h and remove it finallyEric Miao2009-03-091-82/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The remaining registers are separated into: - <mach/regs-ost.h> - <mach/regs-rtc.h> - <mach/regs-intc.h> and then we can remove pxa-regs.h completely. Instead of #include this file, let's: 1. include the specific <mach/regs-*.h> with care (if that's absolutely necessary) 2. define the registers in the driver, make cleanly defined API to expose the register access to external with sufficient reason Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
* [ARM] pxa: move pxa2xx chip selects definitions out of pxa-regs.hEric Miao2009-03-091-12/+0
| | | | | | | | The definitions of PXA_CS<x>_PHYS are really PXA2xx specific and should be moved out of pxa-regs.h. As an illustration, the PXA3xx static chip selects definitions are added into pxa3xx-regs.h. Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
* [ARM] pxa: move PCMCIA definitions out of pxa-regs.h into pxa2xx_base.cEric Miao2009-03-091-38/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Move the processor specific initialization (largely resources initialization) out of soc_common_drv_pcmcia_probe() into dedicated sa11xx_drv_pcmcia_probe() and __pxa2xx_drv_pcmcia_probe(). By doing this, we are now able to move the PCMCIA related definitions out of pxa-regs.h and back into pxa2xx_base.c. As a result, remove that reference of _PCMCIA1IO in arch/arm/mach-pxa/viper.c. * [ARM] pxa: move GPIO register definitions into <mach/gpio.h>Eric Miao2009-03-091-72/+0
| | | | | | | | This makes gpio.c fully independent of pxa-regs.h (except for the virtual address of the registers). Signed-off-by: Mike Rapoport <mike@compulab.co.il> Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
* [ARM] pxa: move DMA registers definitions into <mach/dma.h>Eric Miao2009-03-091-59/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | 1. Driver code where pxa_request_dma() is called will most likely reference DMA registers as well, and it is really unnecessary to include pxa-regs.h just for this. Move the definitions into <mach/dma.h> and make relevant drivers include it instead of <mach/pxa-regs.h>. 2. Introduce DMAC_REGS_VIRT as the virtual address base for these DMA registers. This allows later processors to re-use the same IP while registers may start at different I/O address. Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
* [ARM] pxa: include <mach/hardware.h> in pxa-regs.hEric Miao2008-12-021-0/+1
| | | | | | for the reference of __REG() within <mach/hardware.h> Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>

* [ARM] pxa: move AC97 register definitions into dedicated regs-ac97.hEric Miao2008-12-021-96/+0
| | | | | | | | The optimal change would be to move the AC97 register definitions into the AC97 driver, unfortunately, the registers are shared between several files. Move them into a dedicated regs-ac97.h first. Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
* [ARM] pxa: move UART register definitions into dedicated regs-uart.hEric Miao2008-12-021-141/+0

* [ARM] pxa: move pxa2xx specific PWRMODE definitions into pxa2xx-regs.hEric Miao2008-12-021-7/+0

* [ARM] pxa: remove the now unused IMPMCR/IMPMSR register definitionsEric Miao2008-12-021-54/+0
| | | | | | | | There two are internal registers that are used to control the power management of the Internal Memory (i.e. Internal SRAM). They are referenced nowhere and removed here to simplify pxa-regs.h a bit. Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
* [ARM] pxa: remove unused PWM register definitions, use generic PWM APIEric Miao2008-12-021-13/+0
| | | | | | | | We now have generic PWM API for PXA, the PWM registers definitions are now used nowhere, and it is not encouraged to manipulate them directly by driver code. Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
* [ARM] pxa: move FICP register definitions into pxaficp_ir.cEric Miao2008-12-021-44/+1

* [ARM] ohci-pxa27x: introduce flags to avoid direct access to OHCI registersEric Miao2008-10-071-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | Direct access to USB host controller registers is considered to be not portable, and is usually a bad sign for poorly abstracted interface. Introduce .flags and .power_on_delay to "struct pxaohci_platform_data" so that most platforms don't bother to write their own .init/.exit() sequences. * [ARM] pxa: simplify DMA register definitionsEric Miao2008-10-071-154/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | 1. DRCMRxx is no longer recommended, use DRCMR(xx) instead, and pass DRCMR index by "struct resource" if possible 2. DCSRxx, DDADRxx, DSADRxx, DTADRxx, DCMDxx is never used, use DCSR(), DDADR(), DSADR(), DTADR(), DCMD() instead Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com> Acked-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

* [ARM] 5278/1: i2c-pxa fast mode supportJonathan Cameron2008-10-031-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Add fast_mode option to i2c_pxa_platform_data and use it to set the ICR_FM bit appropriately when i2c_pxa_reset is called. Parameter called fast_mode rather than frequency as this driver is also used for the i2c_pxa_pwr bus which has different normal and fast frequencies.
