* ARM: S3C2412: move mach-s3c2412/* into mach-s3c24xx/Kukjin Kim2012-03-031-666/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch moves S3C2412 stuff into mach-s3c24xx/ directory so that we can merge the s3c24 series' directories to the just one mach-s3c24xx/ directory. And this patch is including following. - re-ordered alphabetically by option text at Kconfig and Makefile Cc: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> [heiko@sntech.de: move 'config S3C2412_PM_SLEEP' to use it for S3C2416] Signed-off-by: Heiko Stuebner <heiko@sntech.de> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
* ARM: 7254/1: restart: S3C24XX: move SWRST based S3C platforms toHeiko Stuebner2012-01-051-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | S3C2412/S3C2416/S3C2443 use a special register to signal the reset to the processor and used therefore the s3c24xx_reset_hook mechanism in the s3c24xx-specific arch reset. This patch introduces restart functions for these architectures, moves the board files to them and removes the s3c24xx_reset_hook infrastructure, as all users are gone. * ARM / Samsung: Use struct syscore_ops for "core" power managementRafael J. Wysocki2011-04-241-13/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Replace sysdev classes and struct sys_device objects used for "core" power management by Samsung platforms with struct syscore_ops objects that are simpler. This generally reduces the code size and the kernel memory footprint. It also is necessary for removing sysdevs entirely from the kernel in the future. Signed-off-by: Rafael J. * arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre2010-10-201-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>

| * ARM: S3C24XX: Drop s3c2410 specific s3c2410_gpio_cfgpin()Ben Dooks2010-05-061-3/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The s3c_gpio_cfgpin() call should be functionally equivalent, so replace the s3c2410_gpio_cfgpin() calls in the s3c24xx code with s3c_gpio_cfgpin to allow moving away from a fixed GPIO number to register address mapping Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
| * ARM: JIVE: Update mach-jive to use gpiolib APIBen Dooks2010-05-061-10/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Change mach-jive to use gpiolib for the GPIO lines that are directly manipulated by it. Note, we ignore any errors from gpio_request(), unlikely to see any. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* | ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove old email address for ben-linux@fluff.orgBen Dooks2010-05-121-1/+1

* [ARM] S3C24XX: GPIO: Change to macros for GPIO numberingBen Dooks2009-05-181-21/+21
| | | | | | | | | | | Prepare to remove the large number of S3C2410_GPxn defines by moving to S3C2410_GPx(n) in arch/arm. The following perl was used to change the files: perl -pi~ -e 's/S3C2410_GP([A-Z])([0-9]+)([^_^0-9])/S3C2410_GP\1\(\2\)\3/g' Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* [ARM] S3C24XX: GPIO: Move gpio functions out of <mach/hardware.h>Ben Dooks2009-05-181-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move all the gpio functions out of <mach/hardware.h> as this file is for defining the generic IO base addresses for the kernel IO calls. Make a new header <mach/gpio-fns.h> to take this and include it via the chain from <linux/gpio.h> which is what most of these files should be using (and will be changed as soon as possible). Note, this does make minor changes to some drivers but should not mess up any pending merges. | | | | | | | | | | | | Make 'jive_vgg2432a4_display' and 'jive_lcd_config' static as they are not exported, and are generating the following sparse warnings: mach-jive.c:280:26: warning: symbol 'jive_vgg2432a4_display' was not declared. Should it be static? mach-jive.c:313:28: warning: symbol 'jive_lcd_config' was not declared. Should it be static? * i2c-s3c2410: Simplify bus frequency calculationDaniel Silverstone2009-04-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The platform data for the i2c-s3c2410 driver used to allow a min, max and desired frequency for the I2C bus. This patch reduces it to simply a desired frequency ceiling and corrects all the uses of the platform data appropriately. This means, for example, that on a system with a 66MHz fclk, a request for 100KHz will achieve 65KHz which is safe and acceptable, rather than 378KHz which it would have achieved without this change. * [ARM] S3C: Rename sleep.S functions to be non-cpu specificBen Dooks2009-03-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | Rename s3c2410_cpu_resume to s3c_cpu_resume and s3c2410_cpu_save to s3c_cpu_save to remove the CPU specific naming of these functions which are now in the generic PM code. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* [ARM] S3C: Rename s3c2410_pm_init to s3c_pm_init.Ben Dooks2009-03-081-1/+1

Note, we have to create a dummy arch/arm/plat-s3c/Makefile to allow us to add arch/arm/plat-s3c/include/plat to the path. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
* [ARM] JIVE: Fix the spi bus numberingBen Dooks2008-08-261-1/+1
