* ARM: u300: delete remnant machine headersLinus Walleij2013-06-172-62/+0
| | | | | | | | | Two files remain in <mach/*> for U300: timex.h and uncompress.h. The former is done away with by using defaults, the latter is unused in multiplatform. Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ARM: u300: localize <mach/u300-regs.h>Linus Walleij2013-06-171-165/+0
| | | | | | | | This register base file is now only used in the machine itself so move it down into mach-u300. Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ARM: u300: delete <mach/irqs.h>Linus Walleij2013-06-171-80/+0
| | | | | | | | All IRQs are now obtained from the device tree, and this file is unused, so delete it. Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ARM: u300: delete <mach/hardware.h>Linus Walleij2013-06-171-5/+0
| | | | | | | This file is now unused and can be deleted. Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ARM: u300: push down syscon registersLinus Walleij2013-06-171-592/+0
| | | | | | | | | Get rid of the <mach/syscon.h> header as a prerequisite for multiplatform support. Do this by pushing the registers down to their respective drivers and deleting the unused remainder. Acked-by: Mike Turquette <mturquette@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ARM: u300: move debugmacro to debug includesLinus Walleij2013-06-171-21/+0
| | | | | | | This moves the U300 debug macro to the debug headers to make way for multiplatform support. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

| * dma: coh901318: push header down into the DMA subsystemLinus Walleij2013-01-071-249/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The defines in U300's <mach/coh901318.h> are now only used by the DMA engine driver itself, so move the header down into the DMA subsystem. Acked-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
| * dma: coh901318: skip hard-coded addressesLinus Walleij2013-01-071-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove hard-coded target addresses altogether. Skip the prefix "runtime_*" from the variables, since all of these are now runtime and their names are unique enough already. | * dma: coh901318: create a proper platform data fileLinus Walleij2013-01-071-16/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This extracts the platform data that we will keep generic from the U300 platform and associates it with the COH901318 driver in <linux/platform_data/dma-coh901318.h>. * pinctrl/coh901: use irqdomain, allocate irqdescsLinus Walleij2012-11-111-10/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | This switches the COH 901 pinctrl driver to allocate its GPIO IRQs dynamically, and start to use a linear irqdomain to map from the hardware IRQs. This way we can cut away the complex allocation of IRQ numbers from the <mach/irqs.h> file. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ARM: U300: bump IRQs to offset 32Linus Walleij2012-11-111-58/+58
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The U300 IRQs were bumped once to offset to 1 (in order to avoid using IRQ 0 which is now NO_IRQ). This was OK as we were still passing the number of irqs in the .nr_irqs field of the machine, with descriptors allocated at boot time. However .nr_irqs should be 0, leading the system to reserve the first 16 IRQs. Then the VIC driver will complain that IRQs 1 thru 15 are pre-allocated, so to avoid this and use free descriptors, move all IRQs up to offset 32. This will all be done away with as we migrate to device tree, so it is an interim solution. Acked-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Most platforms don't need mach/gpio.h and it prevents multi-platform kernel images. Add CONFIG_NEED_MACH_GPIO_H and make platforns select it if they need gpio.h. This is platforms that define __GPIOLIB_COMPLEX or have lots of implicit includes pulled in by mach/gpio.h. at91 and omap have gpio clean-up pending and can drop CONFIG_NEED_MACH_GPIO_H once that is in. |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This retires the B26/S26, B330/S330 and B365/S365 boards from the U300 platform. The only board really used anywhere today is the S335 so let's concentrate any efforts on that one board. Also the board variants are selected at compile-time, which is strictly a no-no these days, if multi-board support is to be brought back it need to happen using run-time and device tree. My work on ARM Linux started on the B26/S26 so it's a bit sad to see it go, but there is a time to move on with all things in life. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ARM: u300: bump all IRQ numbers by oneLinus Walleij2012-04-201-75/+75
| | | | | | | | | | | Since the VIC was converted to use generic IRQ domains IRQ 0 is silently ignored. This IRQ is used on the U300 so we're missing it now. | * pinctrl: move the U300 GPIO driver to pinctrlLinus Walleij2012-01-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This driver will be converted to a dual GPIO + pinctrl driver since it supports biasing and driving control options. Hopefully it can serve as an example. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the now empty arch_reset() from all the mach/system.h includes, and remove its callsite. Remove arm_machine_restart() as this function no longer does anything useful. For samsung platforms, remove the include of mach/system-reset.h and plat/system-reset.h from their respective mach/system.h headers as these just define their arch_reset functions. As a result, the s3c2410 and plat-samsung system-reset.h files are no longer referenced, so remove these files entirely.
