|\ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Pull crypto updates from Herbert Xu: - New cipher/hash driver for ARM ux500. - Code clean-up for aesni-intel. - Misc fixes. Fixed up conflicts in arch/arm/mach-ux500/devices-common.h, where quite frankly some of it made no sense at all (the pull brought in a declaration for the dbx500_add_platform_device_noirq() function, which neither exists nor is used anywhere). Also some trivial add-add context conflicts in the Kconfig file in drivers/{char/hw_random,crypto}/ * git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/herbert/crypto-2.6: crypto: aesni-intel - move more common code to ablk_init_common crypto: aesni-intel - use crypto_[un]register_algs crypto: ux500 - Cleanup hardware identification crypto: ux500 - Update DMA handling for 3.4 mach-ux500: crypto - core support for CRYP/HASH module. crypto: ux500 - Add driver for HASH hardware crypto: ux500 - Add driver for CRYP hardware hwrng: Kconfig - modify default state for atmel-rng driver hwrng: omap - use devm_request_and_ioremap crypto: crypto4xx - move up err_request_irq label crypto, xor: Sanitize checksumming function selection output crypto: caam - add backward compatible string sec4.0

* | Merge tag 'pinctrl' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-socLinus Torvalds2012-05-221-10/+0
|\ \ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Pull arm soc-specific pinctrl changes from Olof Johansson: "With this, five platforms are moving to the relatively new pinctrl subsystem for their pin management, replacing the older soc specific in-kernel interfaces with common code. There is quite a bit of net addition of code for each platform being added to the pinctrl subsystem. But the payback comes later when adding new boards can be done by only providing new device trees instead." | * | ARM: ux500: Add support for MSP I2S-devicesOla Lilja2012-04-241-10/+0
| |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Create devices for the MSP-blocks (MSP0, MSP1, MSP2 and MSP3) and associate it with the correct clocks in the clock-framework. Signed-off-by: Ola Lilja <ola.o.lilja@stericsson.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* / ARM: 7372/1: ux500: factor out dynamic amba device allocatorLinus Walleij2012-04-191-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | This replaces the dynamic device allocator in the ux500 machine with the common device allocator in the bus code. * ARM: ux500: remove intermediary add_platform_device* functionsLee Jones2012-02-131-3/+7
| | | | | | | | | These are no longer required since a 'parent' pointer is now passed to each registering device. Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* ARM: ux500: pass parent pointer to each platform deviceLee Jones2012-02-131-72/+94
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch provides a means for any device within ux500 platform code to allocate its own parent. This is particularly prudent with the introduction of /sys/devices/socX, as a device can now proclaim to be integral part of an SoC, rather than a more generic platform device. Latter patches make good use of this functionality. Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* ARM: 6830/1: mach-ux500: force PrimeCell revisionsLinus Walleij2011-05-261-16/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | The DB8500v2 and DB5500 has a fifth version of the "PL023" and PL180 blocks. However the ASIC engineers have forgot to bump the revision in the PrimeCell peripheral ID registers. Since the platform is aware of the actual silicon revision we need to hard-code the periphid from the platform, bumping the subrevision field to 1. * ARM: 6828/1: mach-ux500: delete SSP PrimeCell IDLinus Walleij2011-05-261-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | This is redundant. The correct ID number is right there in the hardware anyway. We will introduce a mechanism later to hard-code this for deviant cells. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* mach-ux500: config Ux500 PL011 PL022 PL180 for DMALinus Walleij2011-03-141-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | This will configure the platform data for the PL011, PL022 and PL180 (derivate) PrimeCells found in the Ux500 to use DMA with the generic DMA engine for DMA40. Signed-off-by: Per Forlin <per.forlin@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* mach-ux500: add MUSB to db8500 devicesMian Yousaf Kaukab2011-03-141-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | - DMA tx and rx maps for usb channels are set to be configured at runtime - GPIO configurations for usb are added - MUSB is enabled with soc specific base address, irq and dma configurations Signed-off-by: Mian Yousaf Kaukab <mian-yousaf.kaukab@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* ux500: rework device registrationRabin Vincent2010-12-081-0/+98
Change the Ux500 devices to be dynamically allocated and added by calling functions instead of referencing structures, thereby allowing 5500 and other derivatives' support to be added without having to duplicate structures, use fixup functions, or use compile-time macros.
