It's really unnecessary to have plat-mxc, and let's merge it into
mach-imx. It's pretty much just a bunch of file renaming and
Kconfig/Makefile merge.
To make the change less invasive, we keep using Kconfig symbol
CONFIG_ARCH_MXC for mach-imx sub-architecture.

As all irqchips on imx have been changed to allocate their irq_descs,
and all unneeded mach/irqs.h inclusions on imx have been cleaned up,
now it's time to select SPARSE_IRQ for imx/mxc.
The SPARSE_IRQ support forces irqs allocation starting from 16. All
those static irq number definition for SoCs need to shift 16 to keep
non-DT boot works.
With all those static IRQ number and start definitions removed from
mach/irqs.h, the header becomes just a container of a couple of
mach-imx specific irq/fiq calls. Since mach/irqs.h is not included
by asm/irq.h now, the users of mxc_set_irq_fiq needs to explicitly
include mach/irqs.h themselves.

The patch removes MXC_GPIO_IRQS and instead uses ARCH_NR_GPIOS to
define gpio number. This change is need when we change mxc gpio
driver to be device tree aware. When migrating the driver to device
tree, pdev->id becomes unusable. It requires driver get gpio range
from gpio core, which will dynamically allocates number from
ARCH_NR_GPIOS to 0.
As a bonus point, it removes lines of '#if' and make the code a
little bit cleaner. The side effect is the waste of number. But
this is not a point when we go single image.

Since support for mxc91231 was introduced 2009 it only saw patches that
were part of (mxc or arm) global cleanups. The only supported machine
only had 4 devices (2x UART, sdhc, watchdog).

imx/master
Removed selection of COMMON_CLKDEV by CONFIG_ARCH_MX5. This is handled
in 03e09cd8902717b66f940357257d8ad76114d9f2.
arch/arm/plat-mxc/iomux-mx1-mx2.c was moved to
arch/arm/plat-mxc/iomux-v1.c in 5e2e95f520538e095d10456acd28d9107317aa32
and got bug fixed in 5c17ef878fa25e04b1e8f1d8f5fa8b267753472c. The bug
in arch/arm/plat-mxc/iomux-v1.c isn't present any more since
bac3fcfad565c9bbceeed8b607f140c29df97355, so
arch/arm/plat-mxc/iomux-mx1-mx2.c is simply deleted.
Conflicts:
arch/arm/plat-mxc/Kconfig
arch/arm/plat-mxc/Makefile
arch/arm/plat-mxc/iomux-mx1-mx2.c

i.MX3x SoCs contain an Image Processing Unit, consisting of a Control
Module (CM), Display Interface (DI), Synchronous Display Controller (SDC),
Asynchronous Display Controller (ADC), Image Converter (IC), Post-Filter
(PF), Camera Sensor Interface (CSI), and an Image DMA Controller (IDMAC).
CM contains, among other blocks, an Interrupt Generator (IG) and a Clock
and Reset Control Unit (CRCU). This driver serves IDMAC and IG. They are
supported over dmaengine and irq-chip APIs respectively.
IDMAC is a specialised DMA controller, its DMA channels cannot be used for
general-purpose operations, even though it might be possible to configure
a memory-to-memory channel for memcpy operation. This driver will not work
with generic dmaengine clients, clients, wishing to use it must use
respective wrapper structures, they also must specify which channels they
require, as channels are hard-wired to specific IPU functions.
