* ARM: OMAP: Remove debug-devices.cJon Hunter2012-12-141-92/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | The OMAP2420 H4 board was the only board using the plat-omap/debug-devices.c code for configuring ethernet support. Now that OMAP2420 H4 has been migrated to use the generic gpmc code for configuring ethernet support, the debug-devices.c file is no longer used and so remove it and its header file. * ARM: OMAP: Remove unnecessary mach and plat includesTony Lindgren2012-11-021-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Now mach/hardware.h is empty for omap2+ and can be removed except for plat-omap/dmtimer.c for omap1. Also the include of mach/irqs.h can now be removed for shared plat-omap/i2c.c as it's no longer needed. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: OMAP: Fix relative includes for debug-devices.hTony Lindgren2012-10-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As discussed on linux-arm-kernel, we want to avoid relative includes for the arch/arm/*omap* shared code: http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-omap/msg80520.html Let's add plat/debug-devices.h for debug_card_init() to fix the relative includes. Note that drivers must not use this header as it will break build for omap2+ CONFIG_MULTIPLATFORM builds. Cc: Paul Walmsley <paul@pwsan.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: OMAP: resolve sparse warning concerning debug_card_init()Paul Walmsley2012-10-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 801475ccb2b2c1928b22aec4b9e5285d9e347602 ("ARM: OMAP: move debug_card_init() function") results in the following new sparse warning: arch/arm/plat-omap/debug-devices.c:71:12: warning: symbol 'debug_card_init' was not declared. Should it be static? Fix by implementing Tony's suggestion to add a "sideways include" to the new location of the debug-devices.h file in arch/arm/mach-omap2/. * ARM: gpio: convert includes of mach/gpio.h and asm/gpio.h to linux/gpio.hRussell King2011-08-081-2/+1
| | | | | | | | Convert arch/arm includes of mach/gpio.h and asm/gpio.h to linux/gpio.h before we start consolidating the individual platform implementations of the gpio header files. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* omap: use smc91x_platdata to setup smc91xLadislav Michl2009-12-121-0/+10
| | | | | | | | Use smc91x_platdata to setup smc91x, so we can get rid of OMAP specific stuff in smc91x driver Signed-off-by: Ladislav Michl <ladis@linux-mips.org> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* omap: headers: Move remaining headers from include/mach to include/platTony Lindgren2009-10-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move the remaining headers under plat-omap/include/mach to plat-omap/include/plat. Also search and replace the files using these headers to include using the right path. This was done with: #!/bin/bash mach_dir_old="arch/arm/plat-omap/include/mach" plat_dir_new="arch/arm/plat-omap/include/plat" headers=$(cd $mach_dir_old && ls *.h) omap_dirs="arch/arm/*omap*/ \ drivers/video/omap \ sound/soc/omap" other_files="drivers/leds/leds-ams-delta.c \ drivers/mfd/menelaus.c \ drivers/mfd/twl4030-core.c \ drivers/mtd/nand/ams-delta.c" for header in $headers; do old="#include <mach\/$header" new="#include <plat\/$header" for dir in $omap_dirs; do find $dir -type f -name \*.[chS] | \ xargs sed -i "s/$old/$new/" done find drivers/ -type f -name \*omap*.[chS] | \ xargs sed -i "s/$old/$new/" for file in $other_files; do sed -i "s/$old/$new/" $file done done for header in $(ls $mach_dir_old/*.h); do git mv $header $plat_dir_new/ done Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

* ARM: OMAP: use gpio_to_irqDavid Brownell2008-12-111-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Have most uses of OMAP_GPIO_IRQ() use gpio_to_irq() instead. Calls used for table initialization are left alone, at least this time around. (This patch is for code in both the OMAP tree and mainline.) Signed-off-by: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
* ARM: OMAP: switch to gpio_direction_inputDavid Brownell2008-12-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | More switchover to the cross-platform GPIO interface: use gpio_direction_input(), not an OMAP-specific call. Signed-off-by: David Brownell <dbrownell@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

* [ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King2008-08-071-3/+3

* [ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King2008-08-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. * [NET] smc91x: Make smc91x use IRQ resource trigger flagsRussell King2008-01-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | smc91x is shared between many different platforms. Each platform needs to specify the interrupt type, and in some cases the irq type depends on more than just the build configuration - it depends on runtime checks. Rather than throwing this code into the SMC_IRQ_FLAGS definition, provide a way for these flags to be passed via the IRQ resource itself. Note that IRQF_TRIGGER_* constants are intentionally defined to correspond with the IORESOURCE_IRQ_* interrupt type flags, in much the same way that the low bits of PCI iomem resources correspond with the BAR flag bits. Also provide a way to configure smc91x to read the IRQ flags from the resource. Once all platforms have been converted over (signified by all definitions of SMC_IRQ_FLAGS being -1) SMC_IRQ_FLAGS should be removed. * ARM: OMAP: abstract debug card setup (smc, leds)David Brownell2007-09-201-0/+86
Additional cleanup for debug boards on H2/P2/H3/H4: move the init code that's not board-specific into a new file where it can be easily shared between all the different boards (avoiding code duplication, and making it easier to support more devices). Make H4 use that. This should be easy to drop in to the OMAP1 boards using these debug cards; the only difference seems to be that the p2 does an extra reset of the smc using the fpga (probably all boards could do that, if it's necessary) and doesn't use the gpio mux or request APIs.
