* cris: don't use module_init for non-modular core intmem.c codePaul Gortmaker2015-06-161-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The intmem.c code is always built in. It will never be modular, so using module_init as an alias for __initcall is rather misleading. Fix this up now, so that we can relocate module_init from init.h into module.h in the future. If we don't do this, we'd have to add module.h to obviously non-modular code, and that would be a worse thing. Direct use of __initcall is discouraged, vs prioritized ones. Use of device_initcall is consistent with what __initcall maps onto, and hence does not change the init order, making the impact of this change zero. Should someone with real hardware for boot testing want to change it later to arch_initcall or something different, they can do that at a later date. * | percpu: remove per_cpu__ prefix.Rusty Russell2009-10-291-1/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the return from alloc_percpu is compatible with the address of per-cpu vars, it makes sense to hand around the address of per-cpu variables. To make this sane, we remove the per_cpu__ prefix we used created to stop people accidentally using these vars directly. Now we have sparse, we can use that (next patch). tj: * Updated to convert stuff which were missed by or added after the original patch. * Kill per_cpu_var() macro. * mm: drop unneeded pgdat argument from free_area_init_node()Johannes Weiner2008-07-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | free_area_init_node() gets passed in the node id as well as the node descriptor. This is redundant as the function can trivially get the node descriptor itself by means of NODE_DATA() and the node's id. I checked all the users and NODE_DATA() seems to be usable everywhere from where this function is called.
