* MIPS: DMA: Allow platforms to override only the post DMA hookFlorian Fainelli2015-04-081-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Instead of having platforms to copy the entirety of mach-generic/dma-coherence.h, check whether these platforms have already defined a plat_post_dma_flush hook, and if not, provide an inline stub. * MIPS: Create a common <asm/mach-generic/war.h>Kevin Cernekee2015-03-311-0/+24
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 11 platforms require at least one of these workarounds to be enabled; 22 platforms do not. In the latter case we can fall back to a generic version. Note that this also deletes an orphaned reference to RM9000_CDEX_SMP_WAR. * mips: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker2014-01-241-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. * mips/ide: flush dcache also if icache does not snoop dcacheSebastian Andrzej Siewior2014-01-241-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If this is not done then the new just read data which remains in dcache will not make it into icache on time. Thus the CPU loads invalid data and executes crap. The result is that the user is not able to execute anything from its IDE based media while reading plain data is still working well. * MIPS: improve checks for noncoherent DMAFelix Fietkau2014-01-221-4/+0

* MIPS: Support SWIOTLB in default dma operationsJayachandran C2013-06-131-0/+12

* MIPS: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLEDYong Zhang2011-12-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. * dma-mapping: rename ARCH_KMALLOC_MINALIGN to ARCH_DMA_MINALIGNFUJITA Tomonori2010-08-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now each architecture has the own dma_get_cache_alignment implementation. dma_get_cache_alignment returns the minimum DMA alignment. Architectures define it as ARCH_KMALLOC_MINALIGN (it's used to make sure that malloc'ed buffer is DMA-safe; the buffer doesn't share a cache with the others). So we can unify dma_get_cache_alignment implementations. This patch: dma_get_cache_alignment() needs to know if an architecture defines ARCH_KMALLOC_MINALIGN or not (needs to know if architecture has DMA alignment restriction). However, slab.h define ARCH_KMALLOC_MINALIGN if architectures doesn't define it. Let's rename ARCH_KMALLOC_MINALIGN to ARCH_DMA_MINALIGN. ARCH_KMALLOC_MINALIGN is used only in the internals of slab/slob/slub (except for crypto).
