* sh: Mass ctrl_in/outX to __raw_read/writeX conversion.Paul Mundt2010-01-261-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | The old ctrl in/out routines are non-portable and unsuitable for cross-platform use. While drivers/sh has already been sanitized, there is still quite a lot of code that is not. This converts the arch/sh/ bits over, which permits us to flag the routines as deprecated whilst still building with -Werror for the architecture code, and to ensure that future users are not added. * sh: Kill off the special uncached section and fixmap.Paul Mundt2010-01-211-2/+1
| | | | | | | | Now that cached_to_uncached works as advertized in 32-bit mode and we're never going to be able to map < 16MB anyways, there's no need for the special uncached section. Kill it off. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* Fix debugfs_create_file's error checking method for arch/sh/mm/Zhaolei2008-10-201-0/+6
| | | | | | | | debugfs_create_file() returns NULL if an error occurs, returns -ENODEV when debugfs is not enabled in the kernel. Signed-off-by: Zhao Lei <zhaolei@cn.fujitsu.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: fix seq_file memory leakLi Zefan2008-07-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | When using single_open(), single_release() should be used instead of seq_release(), otherwise there is a memory leak. Signed-off-by: Li Zefan <lizf@cn.fujitsu.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* sh: Preparation for uncached jumps through PMB.Stuart Menefy2008-01-281-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | Presently most of the 29-bit physical parts do P1/P2 segmentation with a 1:1 cached/uncached mapping, jumping between the two to control the caching behaviour. This provides the basic infrastructure to maintain this behaviour on 32-bit physical parts that don't map P1/P2 at all, using a shiny new linker section and corresponding fixmap entry. * sh: Fixup cpu_data references for the non-boot CPUs.Paul Mundt2007-02-131-2/+2
| | | | | | | There are a lot of bogus cpu_data-> references that only end up working for the boot CPU, convert these to current_cpu_data to fixup SMP. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* [PATCH] mark struct file_operations const 2Arjan van de Ven2007-02-121-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Many struct file_operations in the kernel can be "const". Marking them const moves these to the .rodata section, which avoids false sharing with potential dirty data. In addition it'll catch accidental writes at compile time to these shared resources. * sh: build fixes for defconfigs.Paul Mundt2006-10-031-1/+1
| | | | | | Get all of the defconfigs building again. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* sh: Add support for cacheline poking through debugfs.Paul Mundt2006-09-271-0/+147
A simple debugging aid for easier visibility of the respective cachelines. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
