* sched/headers: Prepare for new header dependencies before moving more code ↵Ingo Molnar2017-03-021-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | to <linux/sched/mm.h> We are going to split more MM APIs out of <linux/sched.h>, which will have to be picked up from a couple of .c files. The APIs that we are going to move are: arch_pick_mmap_layout() arch_get_unmapped_area() arch_get_unmapped_area_topdown() mm_update_next_owner() Include the header in the files that are going to need it. * sched/headers: Prepare for new header dependencies before moving code to ↵Ingo Molnar2017-03-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | <linux/sched/signal.h> We are going to split <linux/sched/signal.h> out of <linux/sched.h>, which will have to be picked up from other headers and a couple of .c files. Create a trivial placeholder <linux/sched/signal.h> file that just maps to <linux/sched.h> to make this patch obviously correct and bisectable. Include the new header in the files that are going to need it. * tile: use simpler API for random address requestsJason Cooper2016-10-121-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently, all callers to randomize_range() set the length to 0 and calculate end by adding a constant to the start address. We can simplify the API to remove a bunch of needless checks and variables. Use the new randomize_addr(start, range) call to set the requested address. * tile: support ASLR fullyTony Lu2013-08-301-2/+22
| | | | | | | | | With this change, tile Linux now supports address-space layout randomization for shared objects, stack, heap and vdso. Acked-by: Jiri Kosina <jkosina@suse.cz> Signed-off-by: Tony Lu <zlu@tilera.com> Signed-off-by: Chris Metcalf <cmetcalf@tilera.com>
* mm: remove free_area_cacheMichel Lespinasse2013-07-111-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since all architectures have been converted to use vm_unmapped_area(), there is no remaining use for the free_area_cache. * arch/tile: core support for Tilera 32-bit chips.Chris Metcalf2010-06-041-0/+75
This change is the core kernel support for TILEPro and TILE64 chips. No driver support (except the console driver) is included yet. This includes the relevant Linux headers in asm/; the low-level low-level "Tile architecture" headers in arch/, which are shared with the hypervisor, etc., and are build-system agnostic; and the relevant hypervisor headers in hv/.
