* pata_ep93xx: fix deferred probingSergey Shtylyov2021-05-271-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The driver overrides the error codes returned by platform_get_irq() to -ENXIO, so if it returns -EPROBE_DEFER, the driver would fail the probe permanently instead of the deferred probing. Propagate the error code upstream, as it should have been done from the start... * treewide: Add SPDX license identifier for more missed filesThomas Gleixner2019-05-211-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add SPDX license identifiers to all files which: - Have no license information of any form - Have MODULE_LICENCE("GPL*") inside which was used in the initial scan/conversion to ignore the file These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* ARM: ep93xx: move pinctrl interfaces into include/linux/socArnd Bergmann2019-04-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ep93xx does not have a proper pinctrl driver, but does things ad-hoc through mach/platform.h, which is also used for setting up the boards. To avoid using mach/*.h headers completely, let's move the interfaces into include/linux/soc/. This is far from great, but gets the job done here, without the need for a proper pinctrl driver. * ata: ep93xx: cut drvdata assignmentLinus Walleij2017-05-301-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | ata_host_alloc_pinfo() assigns the host pointer to the struct device * drvdata, do not assign drv_data like this. Since ata_host_alloc_pinfo() is called after this site, the correct value is set eventually, but this assignment is just plain pointless. * ata: pass queued command to ->sff_data_xfer methodBartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz2017-01-101-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | For Atari Falcon PATA support we need to check the current command in its ->sff_data_xfer method. Update core code and all users accordingly. There should be no functional changes caused by this patch. Signed-off-by: Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz <b.zolnierkie@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <tj@kernel.org>
* ata: drop owner assignment from platform_driversWolfram Sang2014-10-201-1/+0

* drivers/ata/pata_ep93xx.c: use signed int type for result of platform_get_irq()Andrey Utkin2014-07-171-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | [linux-3.16-rc5/drivers/ata/pata_ep93xx.c:929]: (style) Checking if unsigned variable 'irq' is less than zero. Source code is irq = platform_get_irq(pdev, 0); if (irq < 0) { but unsigned int irq; $ fgrep platform_get_irq `find . -name \*.h -print` ./include/linux/platform_device.h:extern int platform_get_irq(struct platform_device *, unsigned int); Now using "int" type instead of "unsigned int" for "irq" variable. * ata: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker2014-02-131-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. * drivers/ata: don't check resource with devm_ioremap_resourceWolfram Sang2013-05-121-5/+0

* ata: Convert to devm_ioremap_resource()Thierry Reding2013-01-251-3/+4

* Drivers: ata: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman2013-01-041-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.
