* hwrng: mtk - Force runtime pm ops for sleep opsMarkus Schneider-Pargmann2021-10-081-2/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently mtk_rng_runtime_suspend/resume is called for both runtime pm and system sleep operations. This is wrong as these should only be runtime ops as the name already suggests. Currently freezing the system will lead to a call to mtk_rng_runtime_suspend even if the device currently isn't active. This leads to a clock warning because it is disabled/unprepared although it isn't enabled/prepared currently. This patch fixes this by only setting the runtime pm ops and forces to call the runtime pm ops from the system sleep ops as well if active but not otherwise. * hwrng: mediatek - Setup default RNG qualitySean Wang2018-01-181-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | When hw_random device's quality is non-zero, it will automatically fill the kernel's entropy pool at boot. For the purpose, one conservative quality value is being picked up as the default value. Signed-off-by: Sean Wang <sean.wang@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>

* hwrng: mtk - Add driver for hardware random generator on MT7623 SoCSean Wang2017-04-211-0/+168
This patch adds support for hardware random generator on MT7623 SoC and should also work on other similar Mediatek SoCs. Currently, the driver is already tested successfully with rng-tools.
