* tpm: st33zp24: switch to using gpiod APIDmitry Torokhov2022-12-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Switch the driver from legacy gpio API (that uses flat GPIO numbering) to the newer gpiod API (which used descriptors and respects line polarities specified in ACPI or device tree). Because gpio handling code for SPI and I2C variants duplicates each other it is moved into the core code for the driver. Also, it seems that the driver never assigned tpm_dev->io_lpcpd in the past, so gpio-based power management was most likely not working ever. * tpm: st33zp24: Make st33zp24_remove() a void functionUwe Kleine-König2022-02-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Up to now st33zp24_remove() returns zero unconditionally. Make it return no value instead which makes it easier to see in the callers that there is no error to handle. Also the return value of i2c and spi remove callbacks is ignored anyway. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Dropped the field 'irq' from struct tpm_vendor_specific and make it available to the various private structures in the drivers using irqs. A dedicated flag TPM_CHIP_FLAG_IRQ is added for the upper layers. In st33zp24, struct st33zp24_dev declaration is moved to st33zp24.h in order to make accessible irq from other phy's(i2c, spi). In tpm_i2c_nuvoton, chip->vendor.priv is not directly allocated. We can access irq field from priv_data in a cleaner way. * tpm/tpm_i2c_stm_st33: Split tpm_i2c_tpm_st33 in 2 layers (core + phy)Christophe Ricard2015-03-181-0/+34
tpm_i2c_stm_st33 is a TIS 1.2 TPM with a core interface which can be used by different phy such as i2c or spi. The core part is called st33zp24 which is also the main part reference. include/linux/platform_data/tpm_stm_st33.h is renamed consequently. The driver is also split into an i2c phy in charge of sending/receiving data as well as managing platform data or dts configuration.
