* mfd/cpuidle: ux500: Rename driver symbolLinus Walleij2021-08-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The PRCMU driver defines this as a DT node but there are no bindings for it and it needs no data from the device tree. Just spawn the device directly in the same way as the watchdog. Name it "db8500-cpuidle" since there are no ambitions to support any more SoCs than this one. This rids this annoying boot message: [ 0.032610] cpuidle-dbx500: Failed to locate of_node [id: 0] However I think the device still spawns and work just fine, despite not finding a device tree node. * drivers/cpuidle: make cpuidle-ux500.c explicitly non-modularPaul Gortmaker2015-12-151-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The Kconfig currently controlling compilation of this code is: cpuidle/Kconfig.arm:config ARM_U8500_CPUIDLE cpuidle/Kconfig.arm: bool "Cpu Idle Driver for the ST-E u8500 processors" ...meaning that it currently is not being built as a module by anyone. Lets remove the couple traces of modularity so that when reading the driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only. Since module_platform_driver() uses the same init level priority as builtin_platform_driver() the init ordering remains unchanged with this commit. * ARM: cpuidle: Remove duplicate header inclusionDaniel Lezcano2015-03-231-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The cpu_do_idle() function is always used by the cpuidle drivers. That led to have each driver including cpuidle.h and proc-fns.h, they are always paired. That makes a lot of duplicate headers inclusion. Instead of including both in each .c file, move the proc-fns.h header inclusion in the cpuidle.h header file directly, so we can save some line of code. * | cpuidle: Invert CPUIDLE_FLAG_TIME_VALID logicDaniel Lezcano2014-11-121-2/+1
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The only place where the time is invalid is when the ACPI_CSTATE_FFH entry method is not set. Otherwise for all the drivers, the time can be correctly measured. Instead of duplicating the CPUIDLE_FLAG_TIME_VALID flag in all the drivers for all the states, just invert the logic by replacing it by the flag CPUIDLE_FLAG_TIME_INVALID, hence we can set this flag only for the acpi idle driver, remove the former flag from all the drivers and invert the logic with this flag in the different governor. * ARM: ux500: cpuidle: fix section mismatchDaniel Lezcano2013-10-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The dbx500_cpuidle_probe is tagged as an __init section but the variable dbx500_cpuidle_plat_driver is not. The dbx500_cpuidle_probe could not be declared as __init because of macro module_platform_driver builds the exit function, tags as __exit and this one refers to the dbx500_cpuidle_plat_driver which is an __initdata. That leads to a section mismatch. Fix it by removing the __init tag for the probe function.
