* iio: max5481: Add support for Maxim digital potentiometersMatt Weber2017-01-283-0/+235
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add implementation for Maxim Integrated 5481, 5482, 5483, and 5484 digital potentiometer devices. Datasheet: http://datasheets.maximintegrated.com/en/ds/MAX5481-MAX5484.pdf Signed-off-by: Maury Anderson <maury.anderson@rockwellcollins.com> Signed-off-by: Matthew Weber <matthew.weber@rockwellcollins.com> Signed-off-by: Slawomir Stepien <sst@poczta.fm> Acked-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
* iio: potentiometer: mcp4531: Export OF device ID table as module aliasesJavier Martinez Canillas2017-01-221-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The I2C core always reports a MODALIAS of the form i2c:<foo> even if the device was registered via OF, this means that exporting the OF device ID table device aliases in the module is not needed. But in order to change how the core reports modaliases to user-space, it's better to export it. * iio: mcp4531: provide range of available raw valuesPeter Rosin2016-11-131-42/+62
| | | | | | | | | | | | Example: $ cat '/sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device0/out_resistance_raw_available' [0 1 256] Meaning: min 0, step 1 and max 256. Signed-off-by: Peter Rosin <peda@axentia.se> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
* iio: potentiometer: Fix typo in KconfigFlorian Vaussard2016-07-031-3/+3

* iio: potentiometer: mcp4531: Add device tree bindingFlorian Vaussard2016-07-031-1/+86
| | | | | | | | | This patch adds the necessary device tree binding to allow DT probing of currently supported parts. Signed-off-by: Florian Vaussard <florian.vaussard@heig-vd.ch> Acked-by: Peter Rosin <peda@axentia.se> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
* iio: potentiometer: mcp4531: Add support for MCP454x, MCP456x, MCP464x and ↵Florian Vaussard2016-07-032-2/+76
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | MCP466x This patch adds support for MCP454x, MCP456x, MCP464x and MCP466x parts. The main difference with currently supported parts (MCP453x and alike) is the addition of a non-volatile memory in order to recall the wiper setting at power-on. This feature is currently not supported and only the volatile memory is used to set the wiper. * iio: potentiometer: tpl0102: remove unneeded i2c check functionality testMatt Ranostay2016-05-141-4/+0
| | | | | | | | Actually I2C_FUNC_SMBUS_WORD_DATA isn't need for this device, and regmap handles all single byte reads transparently. Signed-off-by: Matt Ranostay <mranostay@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>

* iio: potentiometer: mcp4531: use pointer to access model parametersSlawomir Stepien2016-04-031-7/+6
| | | | | | | | | Use const pointer to element from model configuration array rather then array index, as it will not change anyway. Signed-off-by: Slawomir Stepien <sst@poczta.fm> Signed-off-by: Peter Rosin <peda@axentia.se> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
* iio: potentiometer: tpl0102: change i2c functionality return codeMatt Ranostay2016-03-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | Change i2c_check_functionality condition check return from ENOTSUPP to EOPNOTSUPP which is now the standard return code. Signed-off-by: Matt Ranostay <mranostay@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
* iio: convert to common i2c_check_functionality() return valueMatt Ranostay2016-02-271-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Previously most drivers that used a i2c_check_functionality() check condition required various error codes on failure. This patchset converts to a standard of -EOPNOTSUPP Signed-off-by: Matt Ranostay <mranostay@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org>
