* drivers/macintosh: Delete owner assignmentMarkus Elfring2016-08-221-1/+0
| | | | | | | | The field "owner" is set by core. Thus delete an extra initialisation. Generated by: scripts/coccinelle/api/platform_no_drv_owner.cocci Signed-off-by: Markus Elfring <elfring@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>
* i2c/powermac: Register i2c devices from device-treeBenjamin Herrenschmidt2012-04-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This causes i2c-powermac to register i2c devices exposed in the device-tree, enabling new-style probing of devices. Note that we prefix the IDs with "MAC," in order to prevent the generic drivers from matching. This is done on purpose as we only want drivers specifically tested/designed to operate on powermacs to match. This removes the special case we had for the AMS driver, and updates the driver's match table instead. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>
* Move ams driver to macintoshJean Delvare2010-10-281-0/+277
The ams driver isn't a hardware monitoring driver, so it shouldn't live under driver/hwmon. drivers/macintosh seems much more appropriate, as the driver is only useful on PowerBooks and iBooks.
