Add support for the WILC3000 chip. The chip is similar to WILC1000,
except that the register layout is slightly different and it does
not support WPA3/SAE.

Add error handling to chip_wakeup() and propagate the errors throughout
the entire driver. Add error handling to acquire_bus()/release_bus() and
host_sleep_notify()/host_wakeup_notify() functions as a result as well.
Fill the error handling to all call sites.

Neither chip_allow_sleep()/chip_wakeup() is used outside of wlan.c .
Make both functions static and remove both the exported symbol and
entries from wlan.h .
Make chip_allow_sleep() return error code in preparation for the
follow up patches.
Move acquire_bus() and release_bus() to avoid forward declaration
of chip_allow_sleep()/chip_wakeup().

Reduce the use of wilc_get_chipid(), use cached chip ID wherever
possible. Remove duplicated partial chip ID read implementations
from the driver. Update wilc_get_chipid() to always read the chip
ID out of the hardware and update the cached chip ID, and make it
return a proper return value instead of a chipid. Call wilc_get_chipid()
early to make the cached chip ID available to various sites using
is_wilc1000() to access the cached chip ID.

wake/sleep
host_wakeup_notify and host_sleep_notify are surrounded by chip_wakeup and
chip_allow_sleep calls, which theorically need to be protected with the
hif_cs lock. This lock protection is currently missing. Instead of adding
the lock where those two functions are called, move those in host->chip
suspend notifications to benefit from the lock already used there (in
bus_acquire/bus_release)

wilc driver currently reads and sets mac address by firmware calls. It
means that we can not access mac address if no interface has been brought
up (so firmware is up and running). Another way to get mac address is to
read it directly from eFUSE.
Add a function helper to read the mac address written in eFuse, without
firmware assistance

This reverts commit f236464f1db7bea80075e6e31ac70dc6eb80547f
Commit f236464f1db7 ("wifi: wilc1000: convert list management to RCU")
replaced SRCU with RCU, aiming to simplify RCU usage in the driver. No
documentation or commit history hinted about why SRCU has been preferred
in original design, so it has been assumed to be safe to do this
conversion.
Unfortunately, some static analyzers raised warnings, confirmed by runtime
checker, not long after the merge. At least three different issues arose
when switching to RCU:
- wilc_wlan_txq_filter_dup_tcp_ack is executed in a RCU read critical
section yet calls wait_for_completion_timeout
- wilc_wfi_init_mon_interface calls kmalloc and register_netdevice while
manipulating a vif retrieved from vif list
- set_channel sends command to chip (and so, also waits for a completion)
while holding a vif retrieved from vif list (so, in RCU read critical
section)
Some of those issues are not trivial to fix and would need bigger driver
rework. Fix those issues by reverting the SRCU to RCU conversion commit

wilc1000 driver currently uses SRCU API to manage vif list. There is no
real reason to use SRCU API here, and it makes things slightly more
complicated (we need to handle a SRCU index as well as a srcu_struct) than
classical RCU.
Switch SRCU APIs to RCU APIs.

This warning is due to the section being protected by a srcu critical read
section, but the list traversal being done with classic RCU API. Fix the
warning by using corresponding SRCU read lock/unlock APIs. While doing so,
since we always manipulate the same list (managed through a pointer
embedded in struct_wilc), add a macro to reduce the corresponding
boilerplate in each call site.

Use the correct register configuration when the WILC chip is down so the
successive interface up operation is successful. The modified registers
values during chip down helps to avoid the "FW not responding" debug
message which sometimes occurs because of temporary bus communication
failure during the next start. Also, make sure on first communication with
the chip that it is indeed woken up.

Enabling KASAN and running some iperf tests raises some memory issues with
vmm_table:
BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in wilc_wlan_handle_txq+0x6ac/0xdb4
Write of size 4 at addr c3a61540 by task wlan0-tx/95
KASAN detects that we are writing data beyond range allocated to vmm_table.
There is indeed a mismatch between the size passed to allocator in
wilc_wlan_init, and the range of possible indexes used later: allocation
size is missing a multiplication by sizeof(u32)

'vmm_table' array contains the size of data buffer length including host
header length. In 'vmm_table' array, the Zero value means the end of
vmm_entries that needs to transfer to firmware which is calculated based on

For the SDIO driver, the RESET/ENABLE pins of WILC1000 are controlled
through the SDIO power sequence driver. This commit adds analogous
support for the SPI driver. Specifically, during initialization, the
chip will be ENABLEd and taken out of RESET and during
deinitialization, the chip will be placed back into RESET and disabled
(both to reduce power consumption and to ensure the WiFi radio is
off).
Both RESET and ENABLE GPIOs are optional. However, if the ENABLE GPIO
is specified, then the RESET GPIO should normally also be specified as
otherwise there is no way to ensure proper timing of the ENABLE/RESET
sequence.

When deinitializing the driver, one or more "FW not responding" error
appears on the console. This appears to be due to wilc_wlan_stop()
disabling host/WILC1000 communication, but then right afterwards, it
tries to release the bus with chip-sleep enabled. The problem is
enabling the chip-sleep cannot success once host/WILC1000
communication is disabled. Fix by only releasing the bus.

Add the chip reset command to initialize the WILC chip before downloading
the firmware. Also, put the chip in wake-up mode so it is ready to receive
the firmware binary from the host.

For SPI bus, the register read fails after read/write to the clockless
register during chip wakeup sequence. Add workaround to send CMD_RESET
command during chip wake-up sequence to overcome the issue.

Use the correct sequence to configure clockless registers for chip wake-up.
The following sequence is expected from WILC chip for wakeup:
- set wakeup bit in wakeup_reg register
- after setting the wakeup bit, read back the clock status bit for wakeup
complete.
For SDIO/SPI modules, the wakeup sequence is the same except uses different
register values so refactored the code to use common function for both
SDIO/SPI bus.

If the loop fails, the "while(trials--) {" loop will exit with "trials"
set to -1. The test for that expects it to end with "trials" set to 0
so the warning message will not be printed.
Fix this by changing from a post-op to a pre-op. This does mean that
we only make 99 attempts instead of 100 but that's okay.

chip_allow_sleep() only supported wakeup via SDIO, which made the
driver unusable over SPI. This code is a straight forward port from
the driver in the linux-at91 repository.

ac_classify() expects a struct sk_buff* as its second argument, which is
a member of struct tx_complete_data. priv happens to be a pointer to
struct tx_complete_data, so passing it directly to ac_classify() leads
to wrong behaviour and occasional panics.
Since there is only one caller of wilc_wlan_txq_add_net_pkt and it
already knows the type behind this pointer, and the structure is already
in the header file, change the function signature to use the real type
instead of void* in order to prevent confusion.

The assignment to pointer vif is redundant as the assigned value
is never read, hence it can be removed.

Added multiple queues[BK,BE,VI,VO] to handle different priority data
packets. Before adding a packet to the queue, checked its priority from
the header, and then add to the suitable queue. The limit for each queue
is maintained separately. Also while passing the packets to the firmware
via VMM take care to select data packets based on priority and available
space.

WILC1000 is an IEEE 802.11 b/g/n IoT link controller module. The
WILC1000 connects to Microchip AVR/SMART MCUs, SMART MPUs, and other
processors with minimal resource requirements with a simple
SPI/SDIO-to-Wi-Fi interface.
WILC1000 driver has been part of staging for few years. With
contributions from the community, it has improved significantly. Full
driver review has helped in achieving the current state.
The details for those reviews are captured in 1 & 2.
