* phy: Group vendor specific phy driversVivek Gautam2017-06-011-122/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Adding vendor specific directories in phy to group phy drivers under their respective vendor umbrella. Also updated the MAINTAINERS file to reflect the correct directory structure for phy drivers. * phy: exynos: Use one define for enable bitKrzysztof Kozlowski2017-04-101-3/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | There is no need for separate defines for Exynos4 and Exynos5 phy enable bit and MIPI phy reset bits. In both cases there are the same so simplify it. This reduces number of defines and allows removal of one header file. * phy: exynos5: Remove duplicated defines of PHY register definesKrzysztof Kozlowski2017-04-101-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Phy drivers access PMU region through regmap provided by exynos-pmu driver. However there is no need to duplicate defines for PMU registers. Instead just use whatever is defined in exynos-regs-pmu.h. This reduces number of defines. | | | | | | | | | The phy_ops variables are never modified after initialized in these drivers, so make them const. Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@ingics.com> Acked-by: Patrice Chotard <patrice.chotard@st.com> Signed-off-by: Kishon Vijay Abraham I <kishon@ti.com>
* phy: exynos-dp-video: Kill exynos_dp_video_phy_pwr_isol functionAxel Lin2015-03-121-20/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | If IS_ERR(state->regs) the .probe fails. So IS_ERR(state->regs) test in exynos_dp_video_phy_pwr_isol() is not necessary. exynos_dp_video_phy_pwr_isol() simply does a regmap_update_bits() call now, just call regmap_update_bits() instead and return proper return value. * phy: remove .owner field for drivers using module_platform_driverPeter Griffin2014-09-241-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | This patch removes the superflous .owner field for drivers which use the module_platform_driver or platform_driver_register api, as this is overriden in __platform_driver_register. * phy: exynos-dp-video: Use syscon support to control pmu registerVivek Gautam2014-09-241-25/+54
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently the DP_PHY_ENABLE register is mapped in the driver, and accessed to control power to the PHY. With mfd-syscon and regmap interface available at our disposal, it's wise to use that instead of using a 'reg' property for the controller and allocating a memory resource for that. To facilitate this, we have added another compatible string for Exynso5420 SoC to acquire driver data which contains different DP-PHY-CONTROL register offset. * phy: core: Let node ptr of PHY point to PHY and not of PHY providerKishon Vijay Abraham I2014-07-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | In case of multi-phy PHY providers, each PHY should be modeled as a sub node of the PHY provider. Then each PHY will have a different node pointer (node pointer of sub node) than that of PHY provider. Added this provision in the PHY core. Also fixed all drivers to use the updated API. * phy: let phy_provider_register be the last step in registering PHYKishon Vijay Abraham I2014-02-181-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | Registering phy_provider before creating the PHY can result in PHY callbacks being invoked which will lead to aborts.
