* pinctrl: update my email addressJohn Crispin2016-12-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | This patch updates my email address as I no longer have access to the old one. Signed-off-by: John Crispin <john@phrozen.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* pinctrl: lantiq: Use devm_pinctrl_register() for pinctrl registrationLaxman Dewangan2016-04-211-1/+1
| | | | | | | | Use devm_pinctrl_register() for pin control registration. Signed-off-by: Laxman Dewangan <ldewangan@nvidia.com> Acked-by: John Crispin <blogic@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* pinctrl: make pinctrl_register() return proper error codeMasahiro Yamada2015-06-101-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently, pinctrl_register() just returns NULL on error, so the callers can not know the exact reason of the failure. Some of the pinctrl drivers return -EINVAL, some -ENODEV, and some -ENOMEM on error of pinctrl_register(), although the error code might be different from the real cause of the error. This commit reworks pinctrl_register() to return the appropriate error code and modifies all of the pinctrl drivers to use IS_ERR() for the error checking and PTR_ERR() for getting the error code. * pinctrl: clean up after enable refactoringLinus Walleij2014-09-041-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | commit 2243a87d90b42eb38bc281957df3e57c712b5e56 "pinctrl: avoid duplicated calling enable_pinmux_setting for a pin" removed the .disable callback from the struct pinmux_ops, making the .enable() callback the only remaining callback. However .enable() is a bad name as it seems to imply that a muxing can also be disabled. Rename the callback to .set_mux() and also take this opportunity to clean out any remaining mentions of .disable() from the documentation. * pinctrl/lantiq: Free mapping configs for both pin and groupsLaurent Pinchart2013-05-151-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | When creating mappings from DT both pin config and group config mappings are allocated. Free them both when destroying the mappings. * pinctrl: Declare operation structures as constLaurent Pinchart2013-03-071-2/+2
| | | | | | | | The pinconf, pinctrl and pinmux operation structures hold function pointers that are never modified. Declare them as const. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart+renesas@ideasonboard.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* pinctrl/lantiq: fix pin number in ltq_pmx_gpio_request_enableJohn Crispin2013-02-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The mapping logic inside ltq_pmx_gpio_request_enable() was broken. This only effected Falcon SoC. Signed-off-by: Thomas Langer <thomas.langer@lantiq.com> Signed-off-by: John Crispin <blogic@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* pinctrl/lantiq: add pin_config_group_set supportJohn Crispin2013-02-051-20/+34
| | | | | | | | | While converting all the boards supported by OpenWrt to OF I noticed that this feature is missing. Adding it makes the devicetrees more readable. Signed-off-by: John Crispin <blogic@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

* pinctrl: lantiq: Remove ltq_pmx_disable() functionAxel Lin2012-11-111-11/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Current code adds empty ltq_pmx_disable() because pinmux_check_ops() requires this callback to be defined. This is not required since commit 02b50ce4cb1 "pinctrl: make pinmux disable function optional". Thus remove ltq_pmx_disable() function. * OF: pinctrl: MIPS: lantiq: implement lantiq/xway pinctrl supportJohn Crispin2012-09-131-0/+342
Implement support for pinctrl on lantiq/xway socs. The IO core found on these socs has the registers for pinctrl, pinconf and gpio mixed up in the same register range. As the gpio_chip handling is only a few lines, the driver also implements the gpio functionality. This obseletes the old gpio driver that was located in the arch/ folder.
