* ptp: ixp46x: move adjacent to ethernet driverArnd Bergmann2020-01-121-328/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ixp46x ptp driver has a somewhat unusual setup, where the ptp driver and the ethernet driver are in different directories but access the same registers that are defined a platform specific header file. Moving everything into drivers/net/ makes it look more like most other ptp drivers and allows compile-testing this driver on other targets. * ptp: ixp46x: remove NO_IRQ handlingArnd Bergmann2016-09-071-7/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | gpio_to_irq does not return NO_IRQ but instead returns a negative error code on failure. Returning NO_IRQ from the function has no negative effects as we only compare the result to the expected interrupt number, but it's better to return a proper failure code for consistency, and we should remove NO_IRQ from the kernel entirely. * ptp: ixp46x: convert to the 64 bit get/set time methods.Richard Cochran2015-03-311-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | The device has a 64 bit clock register, where each clock tick is 16 nanoseconds, and so with this patch the driver is ready for the year 2038. Signed-off-by: Richard Cochran <richardcochran@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* ptp: drivers: set the number of programmable pins.Richard Cochran2014-03-211-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch updates the many PTP Hardware Clock drivers with the newly introduced field that advertises the number of programmable pins. Some of these devices do have programmable pins, but the implementation will have to wait for follow on patches. * ixp4xx_eth: Fix up the get_ts_info ethtool method.Richard Cochran2012-04-121-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | Commit e77bd1ec121ee4163a6b42a44e87b2e382c39e04 added support for a new ethtool function, but that cannot compile due to a misnamed global variable. Not that it really matters (since the IXP4xx does compile either, as of about Linux 3.1) but just in case, this patch fixes the misnamed variable in the PHC driver.
