* rtc: bd70528: Avoid double error messaging when IRQ absentKeyur Patel2020-03-231-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Since the commit 7723f4c ("driver core: platform: Add an error message to platform_get_irq*()") platform_get_irq() started issuing an error message. Thus, there is no need to have the same in the driver. * rtc: bd70528: add BD71828 supportMatti Vaittinen2020-01-241-41/+179
| | | | | | | | | | ROHM BD71828 PMIC RTC block is from many parts similar to one on BD70528. Support BD71828 RTC using BD70528 RTC driver and avoid re-inventing the wheel. * rtc: bd70528: fix module alias to autoload moduleColin Ian King2019-11-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The module alias platform tag contains a spelling mistake. Fix it. * rtc: bd70528: Add MODULE ALIAS to autoload moduleMatti Vaittinen2019-11-081-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The bd70528 RTC driver is probed by MFD driver. Add MODULE_ALIAS in order to allow udev to load the module when MFD sub-device cell for RTC is added. I'm not sure if this is a bugfix or feature addition but I guess fixes tag won't harm in this case. * rtc: remove superfluous error messageAlexandre Belloni2019-08-211-5/+1
| | | | | | | | | The RTC core now has error messages in case of registration failure, there is no need to have other messages in the drivers. * rtc: Remove dev_err() usage after platform_get_irq()Stephen Boyd2019-08-131-4/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We don't need dev_err() messages when platform_get_irq() fails now that platform_get_irq() prints an error message itself when something goes wrong. Let's remove these prints with a simple semantic patch. // <smpl> @@ expression ret; struct platform_device *E; @@ ret = ( platform_get_irq(E, ...) | platform_get_irq_byname(E, ...) ); if ( \( ret < 0 \| ret <= 0 \) ) { ( -if (ret != -EPROBE_DEFER) -{ ... -dev_err(...); -... } | ... -dev_err(...); ) ... } // </smpl> While we're here, remove braces on if statements that only have one statement (manually). * rtc: bd70528: Initial support for ROHM bd70528 RTCMatti Vaittinen2019-06-271-0/+500
Support RTC block in ROHM bd70528 power management IC. Support getting and setting the time and date as well as arming an alarm which can also be used to wake the PMIC from standby state. HW supports wake interrupt only for the next 24 hours (sec, minute and hour information only) so we limit also the alarm interrupt to this 24 hours for the sake of consistency.
