* rtc: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König2023-06-061-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. * rtc: rx8025: fix 12/24 hour mode detection on RX-8035Mathew McBride2022-07-261-4/+18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The 12/24hr flag in the RX-8035 can be found in the hour register, instead of the CTRL1 on the RX-8025. This was overlooked when support for the RX-8035 was added, and was causing read errors when the hour register 'overflowed'. To deal with the relevant register not always being visible in the relevant functions, determine the 12/24 mode at startup and store it in the driver state.
