* [SCSI] 53c700: remove reliance on deprecated cmnd fieldsJames Bottomley2006-06-201-39/+47
| | | | | | | | | This one's quite tricky. The 53c700 uses the now deprecated fields of the command structure for saving the prior command when it does autosense. To fix this, we have to add extra fields to the LUN to accommodate a copy of the real command. Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] drivers/scsi: Use ARRAY_SIZE macroTobias Klauser2006-06-101-11/+8
| | | | | | | | | Use ARRAY_SIZE macro instead of sizeof(x)/sizeof(x[0]) and remove duplicates of the macro. Signed-off-by: Tobias Klauser <tklauser@nuerscht.ch> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] audit drivers for incorrect max_id useHannes Reinecke2006-05-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | max_id now means the maximum number of ids on the bus, which means it is one greater than the largest possible id number. Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] Add spi_populate_*_msg functionsMatthew Wilcox2006-02-281-14/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | Introduce new helpers: - spi_populate_width_msg() - spi_populate_sync_msg() - spi_populate_ppr_msg() and use them in drivers which already enable the SPI transport. Signed-off-by: Matthew Wilcox <matthew@wil.cx> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] Rename scsi_print_msg to spi_print_msgMatthew Wilcox2005-12-161-3/+3
| | | | | | | | Rename scsi_print_msg to spi_print_msg and move its prototype from scsi_dbg.h to scsi_transport_spi.h Signed-off-by: Matthew Wilcox <matthew@wil.cx> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] use scmd_id(), scmd_channel() throughout codeJeff Garzik2005-10-291-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | Wrap a highly common idiom. Makes the code easier to read, helps pave the way for sdev->{id,channel} removal, and adds a token that can easily by grepped-for in the future. There are a couple sdev_id() and scmd_printk() updates thrown in as well. Rejections fixed up and Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] use sfoo_printk() in driversJeff Garzik2005-10-291-41/+42
| | | | | Rejections fixed up and Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>

* [SCSI] allow sleeping in ->eh_host_reset_handler()Jeff Garzik2005-06-171-0/+5

* [SCSI] allow sleeping in ->eh_bus_reset_handler()Jeff Garzik2005-06-171-1/+8
| | | | Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] Remove no-op implementations of SCSI EH hooksJeff Garzik2005-06-171-12/+0
| | | | | | | Drivers need not implement a hook that returns FAILED, and does nothing else, since the SCSI midlayer code will do that for us. Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [PATCH] finally fix 53c700 to use the generic iomem infrastructure2005-04-171-2/+1
| | | | | | | This driver has had it's own different infrastructure for doing this for ages, but it's time it used the common one. Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
