* spi: use new `spi_transfer_delay_exec` helper where straightforwardAlexandru Ardelean2019-10-151-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For many places in the spi drivers, using the new `spi_transfer_delay` helper is straightforward. It's just replacing: ``` if (t->delay_usecs) udelay(t->delay_usecs); ``` with `spi_transfer_delay(t)` which handles both `delay_usecs` and the new `delay` field. This change replaces in all places (in the spi drivers) where this change is simple. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): licensed under the gpl 2 or later extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-or-later has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 82 file(s). * spi: xcomm: Export I2C module alias informationJavier Martinez Canillas2015-07-311-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The I2C core always reports the MODALIAS uevent as "i2c:<client name" regardless if the driver was matched using the I2C id_table or the of_match_table. So the driver needs to export the I2C table and this be built into the module or udev won't have the necessary information to auto load the correct module when the device is added. | |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In the implementation of __spi_validate(), spi core will set transfer bits_per_word and max speed as spi device default if it is not set for this transfer. So we can remove the same logic in spi_xcomm_setup_transfer(). Also remove a redundant code to initialize is_first variable. |/ | | | | | | | | | None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. * spi: Remove HOTPLUG section attributesGrant Likely2012-12-071-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As result the __dev* markings will be going away. Remove use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit. Bill Pemberton has done most of the legwork on this series. I've used his script to purge the attributes from the drivers/gpio tree. Reported-by: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
