* stifb: Implement hardware accelerated copyareaAlex Ivanov2015-07-101-2/+38
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds hardware assisted scrolling. The code is based upon the following investigation: https://parisc.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/NGLE#Blitter A simple 'time ls -la /usr/bin' test shows 1.6x speed increase over soft copy and 2.3x increase over FBINFO_READS_FAST (prefer soft copy over screen redraw) on Artist framebuffer. * video: move fbdev to drivers/video/fbdevTomi Valkeinen2014-04-171-0/+1417
The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev device drivers, fbdev framework files. Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev directory, and move all fbdev related files there. No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this patch.
