* video: move fbdev to drivers/video/fbdevTomi Valkeinen2014-04-171-1206/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev device drivers, fbdev framework files. Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev directory, and move all fbdev related files there. No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this patch. | | | | | | | | | The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure. Thus, it is not needed to manually clear the device driver data to NULL. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Tomi Valkeinen <tomi.valkeinen@ti.com>
* Drivers: video: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman2013-01-041-10/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. * drivers/video/mb862xx/mb862xxfbdrv.c: fix error return codePeter Senna Tschudin2012-09-221-3/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Convert a nonnegative error return code to a negative one, as returned elsewhere in the function. A simplified version of the semantic match that finds this problem is as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/) // <smpl> ( if@p1 (\(ret < 0\|ret != 0\)) { ... return ret; } | ret@p1 = 0 ) ... when != ret = e1 when != &ret *if(...) { ... when != ret = e2 when forall return ret; } // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Peter Senna Tschudin <peter.senna@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Florian Tobias Schandinat <FlorianSchandinat@gmx.de>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | Functions not referenced outside of a source file should be marked static to prevent them from being exposed globally. Quiets the sparse warnings: warning: symbol 'mb862xx_intr' was not declared. Should it be static? * video: Add module.h to drivers/video files who really use it.Paul Gortmaker2011-11-011-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | They were getting this implicitly by an include of module.h from device.h -- but we are going to clean that up and break that include chain, so include module.h explicitly now. * video: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLEDYong Zhang2011-10-031-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Several fixes as well where the +1 was missing. Done via coccinelle scripts like: @@ struct resource *ptr; @@ - ptr->end - ptr->start + 1 + resource_size(ptr) and some grep and typing. Mostly uncompiled, no cross-compilers.
