This patch does two things. It passes EFI run time mappings to second
kernel in bootparams efi_info. Second kernel parse this info and create
new mappings in second kernel. That means mappings in first and second
kernel will be same. This paves the way to enable EFI in kexec kernel.
This patch also prepares and passes EFI setup data through bootparams.
This contains bunch of information about various tables and their
addresses.
These information gathering and passing has been written along the lines
of what current kexec-tools is doing to make kexec work with UEFI.

Make the code flow a little better for 80 columns.
Use a consistent style for the RX and TX rings allocation.
Use BIT macro.
Use a temporary unsiged int entries for (1<<size).
Remove the OOM messages as they duplicate the generic
OOM and dump_stack() provided by the memory subsystem.
Reflow allocs to 80 columns.

Rework Tsi721 RapidIO DMA engine support to allow handling data
scatter/gather lists longer than number of hardware buffer descriptors in
the DMA channel's descriptor list.
The current implementation of Tsi721 DMA transfers requires that number of
entries in a scatter/gather list provided by a caller of
dmaengine_prep_rio_sg() should not exceed number of allocated hardware
buffer descriptors.
This patch removes the limitation by processing long scatter/gather lists
by sections that can be transferred using hardware descriptor ring of
configured size. It also introduces a module parameter
"dma_desc_per_channel" to allow run-time configuration of Tsi721 hardware
buffer descriptor rings.

device object and/or target device destination ID as parameters.
This allows to perform RapidIO DMA transfer requests by modules that do not

The interrupt handler gets the driver data associated with the RTC
device and doesn't check it for validity. This can cause a NULL pointer
being dereferenced when and interrupt fires before the driver data was
properly set up.
Fix this by setting the driver data earlier (before the interrupt is
requested).

Add support for configuring the ISL12022 real-time clock via the Device
tree framework. This is based on what I've seen in the related ISL12057
driver, it has been tested and works on a Technologic Systems TS-7670
device which uses a ISL12020 RTC device, my device tree looks like this:
apbx@80040000 {
i2c0: i2c@80058000 {
pinctrl-names = "default";
pinctrl-0 = <&i2c0_pins_a>;
clock-frequency = <400000>;
status = "okay";
isl12022@0x6f {
compatible = "isl,isl12022";
reg = <0x6f>;
};
};

Currently, the rtc-efi driver is restricted to ia64 only. Newer
architectures with EFI support may want to also use that driver. This
patch moves the platform device setup from ia64 into drivers/rtc and
allow any architecture with CONFIG_EFI=y to use the rtc-efi driver.

In particular seeing zero in eft->month is problematic, as it results in
-1 (converted to unsigned int, i.e. yielding 0xffffffff) getting passed
to rtc_year_days(), where the value gets used as an array index
(normally resulting in a crash). This was observed with the driver
enabled on x86 on some Fujitsu system (with possibly not up to date
firmware, but anyway).
Perhaps efi_read_alarm() should not fail if neither enabled nor pending
are set, but the returned time is invalid?

of_match_ptr() helper"
Commit 5516f0971793 ("drivers/rtc/rtc-ds1742.c: remove redundant
of_match_ptr() helper") has description as: "'ds1742_rtc_of_match' is
always compiled in. Hence the helper macro is not needed".
It is not true, of_match_ptr() macro makes of_device_id parameter unused
and this constant is declared with __maybe_unused attribute, so normally
this variable should be discarded by linker. This patch revers this
commit, since there are no reason to compile of_device_id constant for
non-DT systems.

Pull powerpc updates from Ben Herrenschmidt:
"This is the powerpc new goodies for 3.17. The short story:
The biggest bit is Michael removing all of pre-POWER4 processor
support from the 64-bit kernel. POWER3 and rs64. This gets rid of a
ton of old cruft that has been bitrotting in a long while. It was
broken for quite a few versions already and nobody noticed. Nobody
uses those machines anymore. While at it, he cleaned up a bunch of
old dusty cabinets, getting rid of a skeletton or two.
Then, we have some base VFIO support for KVM, which allows assigning
of PCI devices to KVM guests, support for large 64-bit BARs on
"powernv" platforms, support for HMI (Hardware Management Interrupts)
on those same platforms, some sparse-vmemmap improvements (for memory
hotplug),
There is the usual batch of Freescale embedded updates (summary in the
merge commit) and fixes here or there, I think that's it for the
highlights"

Cpufreq depends on platform firmware to implement PStates. In case of
platform firmware failure, cpufreq should not panic host kernel with
BUG_ON(). Less severe pr_warn() will suffice.
Add firmware_has_feature(FW_FEATURE_OPALv3) check to
skip probing for device-tree on non-powernv platforms.

The patch adds new IOCTL commands for sPAPR VFIO container device
to support EEH functionality for PCI devices, which have been passed
through from host to somebody else via VFIO.

Highlights include e6500 hardware threading support, an e6500 TLB erratum
workaround, corenet error reporting, support for a new board, and some

The CoreNet Coherency Fabric is part of the memory subsystem on
some Freescale QorIQ chips. It can report coherency violations (e.g.
due to misusing memory that is mapped noncoherent) as well as
transactions that do not hit any local access window, or which hit a
local access window with an invalid target ID.

m8xx_pcmcia_ops was the only thing in this file (other than a comment
that describes a usage that doesn't match the file's contents); now
that m8xx_pcmcia_ops is gone, remove the empty file.

This driver doesn't build, and apparently has not built since
arch/ppc was removed in 2008 (when mk_int_int_mask was removed
from asm/irq.h, among other build errors).
A few weeks ago I asked whether anyone was actively maintaining
this code, and got no positive response:
http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/352082/
So, let's remove it.
