Pull block fixes from Jens Axboe:
"Here's the second round of block updates for this merge window.
It's a mix of fixes for changes that went in previously in this round,
and fixes in general. This pull request contains:
- Fixes for loop from Christoph
- A bdi vs gendisk lifetime fix from Dan, worth two cookies.
- A blk-mq timeout fix, when on frozen queues. From Gabriel.
- Writeback fix from Jan, ensuring that __writeback_single_inode()
does the right thing.
- Fix for bio->bi_rw usage in f2fs from me.
- Error path deadlock fix in blk-mq sysfs registration from me.
- Floppy O_ACCMODE fix from Jiri.
- Fix to the new bio op methods from Mike.
One more followup will be coming here, ensuring that we don't
propagate the block types outside of block. That, and a rename of

The rw_page users were not converted to use bio/req ops. As a result
bdev_write_page is not passing down REQ_OP_WRITE and the IOs will
be sent down as reads.

It seems fairly obvious that device_create_file() is not being protected
from being run concurrently on the same nbd.
Quentin found the following relevant commits:

It would seem that the race was introduced in the process of moving nbd
from BKL to unlocked ioctls.
By setting nbd->task_recv while the mutex is held, we can prevent other
processes from running concurrently (since nbd->task_recv is also checked
while the mutex is held).

Commit 09954bad4 ("floppy: refactor open() flags handling"), as a
side-effect, causes open(/dev/fdX, O_ACCMODE) to fail. It turns out that
this is being used setfdprm userspace for ioctl-only open().
Reintroduce back the original behavior wrt !(FMODE_READ|FMODE_WRITE)
modes, while still keeping the original O_NDELAY bug fixed.

When we removed the procfs dir on error or if the driver is
unbound, the two variables acpi_lid_dir and acpi_button_dir
were not reset. On the next rebind, those static variables
were not null and we couldn't re-register the device again.

A regression is caused by the following commit:

Subject: ACPI / EC: Fix an issue caused by the serialized _Qxx evaluations
In this commit, using system workqueue causes that the maximum parallel
executions of _Qxx can exceed 255. This violates the method reentrancy
limit in ACPICA and generates the following error log:
ACPI Error: Method reached maximum reentrancy limit (255) (20150818/dsmethod-341)
This patch creates a seperate workqueue and limits the number of parallel
_Qxx evaluations down to a configurable value (can be tuned against number
of online CPUs).
Since EC events are handled after driver probe, we can create the workqueue
in acpi_ec_init().

In dev_pm_opp_set_rate(), _find_opp_table() is called 4 times: once by
_get_opp_clk(), once by dev_pm_opp_set_rate() itself, and twice by
dev_pm_opp_find_freq_ceil(). If there are several opp_tables in the
system, three times of opp table finding is a big waste. This patch
reduced the call of _find_opp_table() to twice.

Some ASUS laptops were shipped with touchpads that require to be woken up
first, before trying to switch them into absolute reporting mode, otherwise
touchpad would fail to work while flooding the logs with:
elan_i2c i2c-ELAN1000:00: invalid report id data (1)
Among affected devices are Asus E202SA, N552VW, X456UF, UX305CA, and
others. We detect such devices by checking the IC type and product ID
numbers and adjusting order of operations accordingly.

This driver adds support for Silead touchscreens. It has been tested
with GSL1680 and GSL3680 touch panels.
It supports ACPI and device tree enumeration. Screen resolution,
the maximum number of fingers supported and firmware name are
configurable.

When the USB wireless adapter is suspended, the controllers
lose their connection. This causes them to start flashing
their LED rings and searching for the wireless adapter
again, wasting the controller's battery power.
Instead, we will tell the controllers to power down when
we suspend. This mirrors the behavior of the controllers
when connected to the console itself and how the official
Xbox One wireless adapter behaves on Windows.

have a hard load dependency between i8042 and atkbd which prevents
keyboard from working on Gen2 Hyper-V VMs.

To break the dependency we move away from using i8042_check_port_owner()
and instead allow serio port owner specify a mutex that clients should use
to serialize PS/2 command stream.

The of_node_put() function tests whether its argument is NULL and then
returns immediately. Thus the test around the call is not needed.

In cros_ec_keyb we stored "dev" in "struct cros_ec_keyb", but this was
the EC's dev pointer and not the keyboard's. Let's clean this up to
make it the keyboard's dev pointer. This could be useful in future
patches but also has the nice effect of changing a few printouts to
include the name of the keyboard device instead of the EC device, so we
will see:

A change to the usb gadget core allowed certain API functions to be
part of a loadable module, which breaks having emxx_udc built-in:
drivers/staging/built-in.o: In function `nbu2ss_drv_probe':
(.text+0x2428): undefined reference to `usb_ep_set_maxpacket_limit'
The original patch already fixed tons of other cases that have the
added dependency but apparently missed this one that now appears
in an ARM allmodconfig build.
This patch makes the symbol "tristate", which lets the Kconfig
dependency tracking handle it correctly. To make the module
actually usable, I also revert 0af61e66ee16 ("drivers/staging:
make emxx_udc.c explicitly non-modular"), which Paul Gortmaker
added after noticing that the Kconfig symbol was 'bool'.
Compared to the original version however, I leave out the
'__exit' annotation on the remove callback, as Paul pointed
out that this was incorrect.

V1F indicates that the time accuracy may have been compromised because
of a voltage drop (possibly only temporary) below VLOW1, which stops the
temperature compensation. When the time is set, the accuracy is
restored, so V1F should be cleared in order to indicate this and to be
able to detect the next temperature compensation loss. This is the same
principle as for V2F, which is cleared when the time is set to indicate
that the time is no longer invalid and to be able to detect the next
data loss.

According to the application manual of the RX8900, the RESET bit must be
set to 1 to prevent a timer update while setting the time. This also
resets the subsecond counter. The application manual of the RV-8803 does
not mention such a requirement, and it says that the 100th Seconds
register is cleared when writing to the Seconds register, but using the
RESET bit for the RV-8803 too should not be an issue and is probably
safer.
This change also ensures that the RESET bit is initialized properly in
all cases. Indeed, all the registers must be initialized if the voltage
has been lower than VLOW2 (triggering V2F), but not low enough to
trigger a POR.

The I²C NACK issue of the RV-8803 may occur after any I²C START
condition, depending on the timings. Consequently, the workaround must
be applied for all the I²C transfers.
This commit abstracts the I²C transfer code into register access
functions. This avoids duplicating the I²C workaround everywhere. This
also avoids the duplication of the code handling the return value of
i2c_smbus_read_i2c_block_data(). Error messages are issued in case of
definitive register access failures (if the workaround fails). This
change also makes the I²C transfer return value checks consistent.

The Weekday register is encoded as 2^tm_wday, with tm_wday in 0..6, so
using tm_wday = ffs(reg) to fill tm_wday from the register value is
wrong because this gives the expected value + 1. This could be fixed as
tm_wday = ffs(reg) - 1, but tm_wday = ilog2(reg) works as well and is
more direct.
