When creating inode for symlink, the client used to send below
requests to fill it in:
* create+query_info+close (STATUS_STOPPED_ON_SYMLINK)
* create(+reparse_flag)+query_info+close (set file attrs)
* create+ioctl(get_reparse)+close (query reparse tag)
and then for every access to the symlink dentry, the ->link() method
would send another:
* create+ioctl(get_reparse)+close (parse symlink)
So, in order to improve:
(i) Get rid of unnecessary roundtrips and then resolve symlinks as
follows:
* create+query_info+close (STATUS_STOPPED_ON_SYMLINK +
parse symlink + get reparse tag)
* create(+reparse_flag)+query_info+close (set file attrs)
(ii) Set the resolved symlink target directly in inode->i_link and
use simple_get_link() for ->link() to simply return it.

smbfs_common
Fix an endian bug in ksmbd for one remaining use of
Persistent/VolatileFid that unnecessarily converted it (it is an
opaque endian field that does not need to be and should not
be converted) in oplock_break for ksmbd, and move the definitions
for the oplock and lease break protocol requests and responses
to fs/smbfs_common/smb2pdu.h
Also move a few more definitions for various protocol requests
that were duplicated (in fs/cifs/smb2pdu.h and fs/ksmbd/smb2pdu.h)
into fs/smbfs_common/smb2pdu.h including:
- various ioctls and reparse structures
- validate negotiate request and response structs

This file will contain all the definitions we need for SMB2 packets
and will follow the naming convention of MS-SMB2.PDF as closely
as possible to make it easier to cross-reference beween the definitions
and the standard.
The content of this file will mostly consist of migration of existing
definitions in the cifs/smb2.pdu.h and ksmbd/smb2pdu.h files
with some additional tweaks as the two files have diverged.
This patch introduces the new smbfs_common/smb2pdu.h file
and migrates the SMB2 header as well as TREE_CONNECT and TREE_DISCONNECT
to the shared file.

Support for faster packet signing (using GMAC instead of CMAC) can
now be negotiated to some newer servers, including Windows.
See MS-SMB2 section 2.2.3.17.
This patch adds support for sending the new negotiate context
with the first of three supported signing algorithms (AES-CMAC)
and decoding the response. A followon patch will add support
for sending the other two (including AES-GMAC, which is fastest)
and changing the signing algorithm used based on what was
negotiated.
To allow the client to request GMAC signing set module parameter
"enable_negotiate_signing" to 1.

At the time, the size of array _Dialects_ was changed from 1 to 3 in struct
validate_negotiate_info_req, and then in 2019 it was changed from 3 to 4,
but those changes were never made in struct smb2_negotiate_req, which has
led to a 3 and a half years old out-of-bounds bug in function
SMB2_negotiate() (fs/cifs/smb2pdu.c).
Fix this by increasing the size of array _Dialects_ in struct
smb2_negotiate_req to 4.

There is a regular need in the kernel to provide a way to declare
having a dynamically sized set of trailing elements in a structure.
Kernel code should always use "flexible array members"[1] for these
cases. The older style of one-element or zero-length arrays should
no longer be used[2].

In the negotiate protocol preauth context, the server is not required
to populate the salt (although it is done by most servers) so do
not warn on mount.
We retain the checks (warn) that the preauth context is the minimum
size and that the salt does not exceed DataLength of the SMB response.
Although we use the defaults in the case that the preauth context
response is invalid, these checks may be useful in the future
as servers add support for additional mechanisms.

When mounting with "idsfromsid" mount option, Azure
corrupted the owner SIDs due to excessive padding
caused by placing the owner fields at the end of the
security descriptor on create. Placing owners at the
front of the security descriptor (rather than the end)
is also safer, as the number of ACEs (that follow it)
are variable.

The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language
extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare
variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2],
introduced in C99:
struct foo {
int stuff;
struct boo array[];
};
By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning
in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which
will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being
inadvertently introduced[3] to the codebase from now on.
Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by
this change:
"Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator
may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of
zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1]
This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle.

allows SMB2_open() callers to pass down a POSIX data buffer that will
trigger requesting POSIX create context and parsing the response into
the provided buffer.

little progress on the posix create response.
* rename struct to create_posix_rsp to match with the request
create_posix context
* make struct packed
* pass smb info struct for parse_posix_ctxt to fill
* use smb info struct as param
* update TODO
What needs to be done:
SMB2_open() has an optional smb info out argument that it will fill.
Callers making use of this are:
- smb3_query_mf_symlink (need to investigate)
- smb2_open_file
Callers of smb2_open_file (via server->ops->open) are passing an
smbinfo struct but that struct cannot hold POSIX information. All the
call stack needs to be changed for a different info type. Maybe pass
SMB generic struct like cifs_fattr instead.

When using the special SID to store the mode bits in an ACE (See
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh509017(v=ws.10).aspx)
which is enabled with mount parm "modefromsid" we were not
passing in the mode via SMB3 create (although chmod was enabled).
SMB3 create allows a security descriptor context to be passed
in (which is more atomic and thus preferable to setting the mode
bits after create via a setinfo).
This patch enables setting the mode bits on create when using
modefromsid mount option. In addition it fixes an endian
error in the definition of the Control field flags in the SMB3
security descriptor. It also makes the ACE type of the special
SID better match the documentation (and behavior of servers
which use this to store mode bits in SMB3 ACLs).

Since timestamps on files on most servers can be updated at
close, and since timestamps on our dentries default to one
second we can have stale timestamps in some common cases
(e.g. open, write, close, stat, wait one second, stat - will
show different mtime for the first and second stat).
The SMB2/SMB3 protocol allows querying timestamps at close
so add the code to request timestamp and attr information
(which is cheap for the server to provide) to be returned
when a file is closed (it is not needed for the many
paths that call SMB2_close that are from compounded
query infos and close nor is it needed for some of
the cases where a directory close immediately follows a
directory open.

Currenly we doesn't assume that a server may break a lease
from RWH to RW which causes us setting a wrong lease state
on a file and thus mistakenly flushing data and byte-range
locks and purging cached data on the client. This leads to
performance degradation because subsequent IOs go directly
to the server.
Fix this by propagating new lease state and epoch values
to the oplock break handler through cifsFileInfo structure
and removing the use of cifsInodeInfo flags for that. It
allows to avoid some races of several lease/oplock breaks
using those flags in parallel.

When the client hits a network reconnect, it re-opens every open
file with a create context to reconnect a persistent handle. All
create context types should be 8-bytes aligned but the padding
was missed for that one. As a result, some servers don't allow
us to reconnect handles and return an error. The problem occurs
when the problematic context is not at the end of the create
request packet. Fix this by adding a proper padding at the end
of the reconnect persistent handle context.
