* alpha: move include/asm-alpha to arch/alpha/include/asmLinus Torvalds2008-08-151-464/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sam Ravnborg did the build-test that the direct header file move works, I'm just committing it. This is a pure move: mkdir arch/alpha/include git mv include/asm-alpha arch/alpha/include/asm with no other changes. * Alpha doesn't use socketcallSamuel Thibault2008-02-051-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Alpha doesn't use socketcall and doesn't provide __NR_socketcall. * alpha: support new syscallsRichard Henderson2007-05-301-1/+47
| | | | | | | Some of the new syscalls require supporting TIF_RESTORE_SIGMASK. Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <rth@twiddle.net> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
* [PATCH] alpha: fix epoll syscall enumerationsMike Frysinger2007-02-031-3/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | We went and named them __NR_sys_foo instead of __NR_foo. It may be too late to change this, but we can at least add the proper names now. * [PATCH] remove kernel syscallsArnd Bergmann2006-12-071-182/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | The last thing we agreed on was to remove the macros entirely for 2.6.19, on all architectures. Unfortunately, I think nobody actually _did_ that, so they are still there. * [PATCH] rename the provided execve functions to kernel_execveArnd Bergmann2006-10-021-69/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some architectures provide an execve function that does not set errno, but instead returns the result code directly. Rename these to kernel_execve to get the right semantics there. Moreover, there is no reasone for any of these architectures to still provide __KERNEL_SYSCALLS__ or _syscallN macros, so remove these right away. * Remove unneeded _syscallX macros from user view in asm-*/unistd.hDavid Woodhouse2006-04-291-3/+4
| | | | | | | | These aren't needed by glibc or klibc, and they're broken in some cases anyway. The uClibc folks are apparently switching over to stop using them too (now that we agreed that they should be dropped, at least). Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
