* asm-generic: add generic ABI headersArnd Bergmann2009-06-111-0/+131
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | These header files are typically copied from an existing architecture into any new one, slightly modified and then remain untouched until the end of time in the name of ABI stability. To make it easier for future architectures, provide a sane generic version here. In cases where multiple architectures already use identical code, I used the most common version. In cases like stat.h that are more or less broken everywhere, I provide a version that is meant to be ideal for new architectures. * asm-generic: rename termios.h, signal.h and mman.hArnd Bergmann2009-06-111-28/+0
| | | | | | | | | | The existing asm-generic versions are incomplete and included by some architectures. New architectures should be able to use a generic version, so rename the existing files and change all users, which lets us add the new files. * [PATCH] asm/signal.h unificationAl Viro2005-05-041-0/+21
New file - asm-generic/signal.h. Contains declarations of __sighandler_t, __sigrestore_t, SIG_DFL, SIG_IGN, SIG_ERR and default definitions of SIG_BLOCK, SIG_UNBLOCK and SIG_SETMASK. asm-*/signal.h switched to including it. The only exception is asm-parisc/signal.h that wants its own declaration of __sighandler_t; that one is left as-is. asm-ppc64/signal.h required one more thing - unlike everybody else it used __sigrestorer_t instead of usual __sigrestore_t. PPC64 switched to common spelling. Signed-off-by: Al Viro <viro@parcelfarce.linux.theplanet.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
