* [IA64] Move include/asm-ia64 to arch/ia64/include/asmTony Luck2008-08-011-269/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | After moving the the include files there were a few clean-ups: 1) Some files used #include <asm-ia64/xyz.h>, changed to <asm/xyz.h> 2) Some comments alerted maintainers to look at various header files to make matching updates if certain code were to be changed. Updated these comments to use the new include paths. 3) Some header files mentioned their own names in initial comments. Just deleted these self references. * [IA64] use CORE_DUMP_USE_REGSETShaohua Li2008-03-131-6/+1
| | | | | | | After we have regset support, we can use CORE_DUMP_USE_REGSET. Signed-off-by: Shaohua Li <shaohua.li@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Luck <tony.luck@intel.com>
* [IA64] regset: 64-bit supportShaohua Li2008-03-131-0/+24
| | | | | | | | This is the 64-bit regset implementation under IA64. Basically register read/write, which is derived from current ptrace register read/write. Signed-off-by: Shaohua Li <shaohua.li@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Luck <tony.luck@intel.com>
* Cleanup asm/{elf,page,user}.h: #ifdef __KERNEL__ is no longer neededKirill A. Shutemov2008-02-071-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | asm/elf.h, asm/page.h and asm/user.h don't export to userspace now, so we can drop #ifdef __KERNEL__ for them. * increase AT_VECTOR_SIZE to terminate saved_auxv properlyOlaf Hering2007-10-171-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | include/asm-powerpc/elf.h has 6 entries in ARCH_DLINFO. fs/binfmt_elf.c has 14 unconditional NEW_AUX_ENT entries and 2 conditional NEW_AUX_ENT entries. So in the worst case, saved_auxv does not get an AT_NULL entry at the end. The saved_auxv array must be terminated with an AT_NULL entry. Make the size of mm_struct->saved_auxv arch dependend, based on the number of ARCH_DLINFO entries. * [PATCH] auxiliary vector cleanupsH. J. Lu2005-09-081-7/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The size of auxiliary vector is fixed at 42 in linux/sched.h. But it isn't very obvious when looking at linux/elf.h. This patch adds AT_VECTOR_SIZE so that we can change it if necessary when a new vector is added. Because of include file ordering problems, doing this necessitated the extraction of the AT_* symbols into a standalone header file. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
