syzbot reports following splat:
BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in ebt_stp_mt_check+0x24b/0x450
net/bridge/netfilter/ebt_stp.c:162
ebt_stp_mt_check+0x24b/0x450 net/bridge/netfilter/ebt_stp.c:162

ebt_check_match net/bridge/netfilter/ebtables.c:372 [inline]
ebt_check_entry net/bridge/netfilter/ebtables.c:702 [inline]
The uninitialised access is
xt_mtchk_param->nft_compat
... which should be set to 0.
Fix it by zeroing the struct beforehand, same for tgchk.
ip(6)tables targetinfo uses c99-style initialiser, so no change
needed there.

the ebtables evaluation loop expects targets to return
positive values (jumps), or negative values (absolute verdicts).
This is completely different from what xtables does.
In xtables, targets are expected to return the standard netfilter
verdicts, i.e. NF_DROP, NF_ACCEPT, etc.
ebtables will consider these as jumps.
Therefore reject any target found due to unspec fallback.
v2: also reject watchers. ebtables ignores their return value, so
a target that assumes skb ownership (and returns NF_STOLEN) causes
use-after-free.
The only watchers in the 'ebtables' front-end are log and nflog;
both have AF_BRIDGE specific wrappers on kernel side.

On arm64, ebt_entry_{match,watcher,target} structs are 40 bytes long
while on 32-bit arm these structs have a size of 36 bytes.
COMPAT_XT_ALIGN() macro cannot be used here to determine the necessary
padding for the CONFIG_COMPAT because it imposes an 8-byte boundary
alignment, condition that is not found in 32-bit ebtables application.

The vmalloc() function has no 2-factor argument form, so multiplication
factors need to be wrapped in array_size(). This patch replaces cases of:
vmalloc(a * b)
with:
vmalloc(array_size(a, b))
as well as handling cases of:
vmalloc(a * b * c)
with:
vmalloc(array3_size(a, b, c))
This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:
vmalloc(4 * 1024)
though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.
Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.
The Coccinelle script used for this was:
// Fix redundant parens around sizeof().

The kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kcalloc(). This
patch replaces cases of:
kzalloc(a * b, gfp)
with:
kcalloc(a * b, gfp)
as well as handling cases of:
kzalloc(a * b * c, gfp)
with:
kzalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)
as it's slightly less ugly than:
kzalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp)
This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:
kzalloc(4 * 1024, gfp)
though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.
Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.
The Coccinelle script used for this was:
// Fix redundant parens around sizeof().

Callers of br_fdb_find() need to hold the hash lock, which
br_fdb_find_port() doesn't do. However, since br_fdb_find_port() is not
doing any actual FDB manipulation, the hash lock is not really needed at
all. So convert to br_fdb_find_rcu(), surrounded by rcu_read_lock() /
_unlock() pair.
The device pointer copied from inside the FDB entry is then kept alive
by the RTNL lock, which br_fdb_find_port() asserts.

A driver might need to react to changes in settings of brentry VLANs.
Therefore send switchdev port notifications for these as well. Reuse
SWITCHDEV_OBJ_ID_PORT_VLAN for this purpose. Listeners should use
netif_is_bridge_master() on orig_dev to determine whether the
notification is about a bridge port or a bridge.

A call to switchdev_port_obj_add() or switchdev_port_obj_del() involves
initializing a struct switchdev_obj_port_vlan, a piece of code that
repeats on each call site almost verbatim. While in the current codebase
there is just one duplicated add call, the follow-up patches add more of
both add and del calls.
Thus to remove the duplication, extract the repetition into named
functions and reuse.

This patch adds support for a new port flag - BR_ISOLATED. If it is set
then isolated ports cannot communicate between each other, but they can
still communicate with non-isolated ports. The same can be achieved via
ACLs but they can't scale with large number of ports and also the
complexity of the rules grows. This feature can be used to achieve
isolated vlan functionality (similar to pvlan) as well, though currently
it will be port-wide (for all vlans on the port). The new test in
should_deliver uses data that is already cache hot and the new boolean
is used to avoid an additional source port test in should_deliver.

It overcomplicates things for no reason.
nft_meta_bridge only offers retrieval of bridge port interface name.
Because of this being its own module, we had to export all nft_meta
functions, which we can then make static again (which even reduces
the size of nft_meta -- including bridge port retrieval...):

The following patch enables sending notifications also for events on FDB
entries that weren't added by the user. Give the drivers the information
necessary to distinguish between the two origins of FDB entries.
To maintain the current behavior, have switchdev-implementing drivers
bail out on notifications about non-user-added FDB entries. In case of
mlxsw driver, allow a call to mlxsw_sp_span_respin() so that SPAN over
bridge catches up with the changed FDB.

While handling netdevice events, br_device_event() sometimes uses
br_stp_(disable|enable)_port which unconditionally send a notification,
but then a second notification for the same event is sent at the end of
the br_device_event() function. To avoid sending duplicate notifications
in such cases, check if one has already been sent (i.e.
br_stp_enable/disable_port have been called).

Pull audit updates from Paul Moore:
"Another reasonable chunk of audit changes for v4.18, thirteen patches
in total.
The thirteen patches can mostly be broken down into one of four
categories: general bug fixes, accessor functions for audit state
stored in the task_struct, negative filter matches on executable
names, and extending the (relatively) new seccomp logging knobs to the
audit subsystem.
The main driver for the accessor functions from Richard are the
changes we're working on to associate audit events with containers,
but I think they have some standalone value too so I figured it would
be good to get them in now.
The seccomp/audit patches from Tyler apply the seccomp logging
improvements from a few releases ago to audit's seccomp logging;
starting with this patchset the changes in
/proc/sys/kernel/seccomp/actions_logged should apply to both the
standard kernel logging and audit.
As usual, everything passes the audit-testsuite and it happens to
merge cleanly with your tree"

When we set a bond slave's master to bridge via ioctl, we only check
the IFF_BRIDGE_PORT flag. Although we will find the slave's real master
at netdev_master_upper_dev_link() later, it already does some settings
and allocates some resources. It would be better to return as early
as possible.
v1 -> v2:
use netdev_master_upper_dev_get() instead of netdev_has_any_upper_dev()
to check if we have a master, because not all upper devs are masters,
e.g. vlan device.

Dmitry reports 32bit ebtables on 64bit kernel got broken by
a recent change that returns -EINVAL when ruleset has no entries.
ebtables however only counts user-defined chains, so for the
initial table nentries will be 0.
Don't try to allocate the compat array in this case, as no user
defined rules exist no rule will need 64bit translation.

As Roopa noted today the biggest source of problems when configuring
bridge and ports is that the bridge MTU keeps changing automatically on
port events (add/del/changemtu). That leads to inconsistent behaviour
and network config software needs to chase the MTU and fix it on each
such event. Let's improve on that situation and allow for the user to
set any MTU within ETH_MIN/MAX limits, but once manually configured it
is the user's responsibility to keep it correct afterwards.
In case the MTU isn't manually set - the behaviour reverts to the
previous and the bridge follows the minimum MTU.

Recently the bridge was changed to automatically set maximum MTU on port
events (add/del/changemtu) when vlan filtering is enabled, but that
actually changes behaviour in a way which breaks some setups and can lead
to packet drops. In order to still allow that maximum to be set while being
compatible, we add the ability for the user to tune the bridge MTU up to
the maximum when vlan filtering is enabled, but that has to be done
explicitly and all port events (add/del/changemtu) lead to resetting that
MTU to the minimum as before.

Netfilter/IPVS updates for net-next
The following patchset contains Netfilter/IPVS updates for your net-next
tree. This batch comes with more input sanitization for xtables to
address bug reports from fuzzers, preparation works to the flowtable
infrastructure and assorted updates. In no particular order, they are:
1) Make sure userspace provides a valid standard target verdict, from
Florian Westphal.
2) Sanitize error target size, also from Florian.
3) Validate that last rule in basechain matches underflow/policy since
userspace assumes this when decoding the ruleset blob that comes
from the kernel, from Florian.
4) Consolidate hook entry checks through xt_check_table_hooks(),
patch from Florian.
5) Cap ruleset allocations at 512 mbytes, 134217728 rules and reject
very large compat offset arrays, so we have a reasonable upper limit
and fuzzers don't exercise the oom-killer. Patches from Florian.
6) Several WARN_ON checks on xtables mutex helper, from Florian.
7) xt_rateest now has a hashtable per net, from Cong Wang.
8) Consolidate counter allocation in xt_counters_alloc(), from Florian.
9) Earlier xt_table_unlock() call in {ip,ip6,arp,eb}tables, patch
from Xin Long.
10) Set FLOW_OFFLOAD_DIR_* to IP_CT_DIR_* definitions, patch from
Felix Fietkau.
11) Consolidate code through flow_offload_fill_dir(), also from Felix.
12) Inline ip6_dst_mtu_forward() just like ip_dst_mtu_maybe_forward()
to remove a dependency with flowtable and ipv6.ko, from Felix.
13) Cache mtu size in flow_offload_tuple object, this is safe for
forwarding as f87c10a8aa1e describes, from Felix.
14) Rename nf_flow_table.c to nf_flow_table_core.o, to simplify too
modular infrastructure, from Felix.
15) Add rt0, rt2 and rt4 IPv6 routing extension support, patch from
Ahmed Abdelsalam.
16) Remove unused parameter in nf_conncount_count(), from Yi-Hung Wei.
17) Support for counting only to nf_conncount infrastructure, patch
from Yi-Hung Wei.
18) Add strict NFT_CT_{SRC_IP,DST_IP,SRC_IP6,DST_IP6} key datatypes
to nft_ct.
19) Use boolean as return value from ipt_ah and from IPVS too, patch
from Gustavo A. R. Silva.
20) Remove useless parameters in nfnl_acct_overquota() and
nf_conntrack_broadcast_help(), from Taehee Yoo.
21) Use ipv6_addr_is_multicast() from xt_cluster, also from Taehee Yoo.
22) Statify nf_tables_obj_lookup_byhandle, patch from Fengguang Wu.
23) Fix typo in xt_limit, from Geert Uytterhoeven.

26) Bitshift support for CONNMARK and MARK targets, from Jack Ma.
27) Use pr_*() and add pr_fmt(), from Arushi Singhal.
28) Add synproxy support to ctnetlink.
29) ICMP type and IGMP matching support for ebtables, patches from
Matthias Schiffer.

One module per supported filter chain family type takes too much memory
for very little code - too much modularization - place all chain filter
definitions in one single file.

Use WARN_ON() instead since it should not happen that neither family
goes over NFPROTO_NUMPROTO nor there is already a chain of this type
already registered.

Use nft_ prefix. By when I added chain types, I forgot to use the
nftables prefix. Rename enum nft_chain_type to enum nft_chain_types too,
otherwise there is an overlap.

Instead of unnecessary const declarations, use the generic functions to
save a little object space.

Currently ebtables assumes that the revision number of all match
modules is 0, which is an issue when trying to use existing
xtables matches with ebtables. The solution is to modify ebtables
to allow extensions to specify a revision number, similar to
iptables. This gets passed down to the kernel, which is then able
to find the match module correctly.
To main binary backwards compatibility, the size of the ebt_entry
structures is not changed, only the size of the name field is
decreased by 1 byte to make room for the revision field.

We already have ICMPv6 type/code matches (which can be used to distinguish
different types of MLD packets). Add support for IPv4 IGMP matches in the
same way.

xtables uses ADD_COUNTER macro to increase
packet and byte count. ebtables also can use this.
