* doc: Update the email address for Paul Moore in various source filesPaul Moore2011-08-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | My @hp.com will no longer be valid starting August 5, 2011 so an update is necessary. My new email address is employer independent so we don't have to worry about doing this again any time soon. * netlabel: Add configuration support for local labelingPaul Moore2008-10-101-2/+4
| | | | | | | | Add the necessary NetLabel support for the new CIPSO mapping, CIPSO_V4_MAP_LOCAL, which allows full LSM label/context support. Signed-off-by: Paul Moore <paul.moore@hp.com> Reviewed-by: James Morris <jmorris@namei.org>
* cipso: Add support for native local labeling and fixup mapping namesPaul Moore2008-10-101-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch accomplishes three minor tasks: add a new tag type for local labeling, rename the CIPSO_V4_MAP_STD define to CIPSO_V4_MAP_TRANS and replace some of the CIPSO "magic numbers" with constants from the header file. The first change allows CIPSO to support full LSM labels/contexts, not just MLS attributes. The second change brings the mapping names inline with what userspace is using, compatibility is preserved since we don't actually change the value. The last change is to aid readability and help prevent mistakes. Signed-off-by: Paul Moore <paul.moore@hp.com>
* NetLabel: introduce a new kernel configuration API for NetLabelPaul Moore2008-02-051-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add a new set of configuration functions to the NetLabel/LSM API so that LSMs can perform their own configuration of the NetLabel subsystem without relying on assistance from userspace. * [NetLabel]: rework the Netlink attribute handling (part 2)Paul Moore2006-09-261-138/+87
| | | | | | | | At the suggestion of Thomas Graf, rewrite NetLabel's use of Netlink attributes to better follow the common Netlink attribute usage. Signed-off-by: Paul Moore <paul.moore@hp.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* [NetLabel]: core NetLabel subsystemPaul Moore2006-09-221-0/+217
Add a new kernel subsystem, NetLabel, to provide explicit packet labeling services (CIPSO, RIPSO, etc.) to LSM developers. NetLabel is designed to work in conjunction with a LSM to intercept and decode security labels on incoming network packets as well as ensure that outgoing network packets are labeled according to the security mechanism employed by the LSM. The NetLabel subsystem is configured through a Generic NETLINK interface described in the header files included in this patch. Signed-off-by: Paul Moore <paul.moore@hp.com> Signed-off-by: David S.
