* [ALSA] semaphore -> mutex (Archs, misc buses)Ingo Molnar2006-03-223-12/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | Semaphore to mutex conversion. The conversion was generated via scripts, and the result was validated automatically via a script as well. Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
* [ARM] 3290/1: Fix the FIFO size detectionCatalin Marinas2006-02-011-4/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Catalin Marinas AACI reports TX FIFO full after the first write to it if the AC97 is not enabled. This patch enables the AC97 probing before the check for the TX FIFO size. The patch also adds a warning if the TX FIFO size is not multiple of 16. | * [ALSA] make the pxa2xx-ac97 module more robust against PXA27x bugsNicolas Pitre2006-01-031-17/+22
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Modules: ARM PXA2XX driver The SDONE and CDONE interrupt on the PXA27x might become unusable in some conditions. Let's use an hybrid approach (interrupt with timeout) to have the best possible behavior in all conditions. Also let's not care about CAR_CAIP anymore. This is useless. * | [PATCH] DRIVER MODEL: Get rid of the obsolete tri-level suspend/resume callbacksRussell King2005-10-281-4/+4
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In PM v1, all devices were called at SUSPEND_DISABLE level. Then all devices were called at SUSPEND_SAVE_STATE level, and finally SUSPEND_POWER_DOWN level. However, with PM v2, to maintain compatibility for platform devices, I arranged for the PM v2 suspend/resume callbacks to call the old PM v1 suspend/resume callbacks three times with each level in order so that existing drivers continued to work. Since this is obsolete infrastructure which is no longer necessary, we can remove it. Here's an (untested) patch to do exactly that. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ARM PXA2XX driver This patch extends the period of an AC97 warm reset on the PXA27x from 50uS to 500uS. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
