* ALSA: Convert timers to use timer_setup()Kees Cook2017-10-261-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | In preparation for unconditionally passing the struct timer_list pointer to all timer callbacks, switch to using the new timer_setup() and from_timer() to pass the timer pointer explicitly. These are all the "mechanical" changes remaining in the sound subsystem. * ALSA: echoaudio: cleanup of unnecessary messagesSudip Mukherjee2014-11-051-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | commit "b5b4a41b392960010fccf1f9ccf8334d612bd450" was dereferencing chip after it has been freed. This patch fixes that and at the same time removes some debugging messages, which are unnecessary, as they are just printing information about entry and exit from a function, and which switch-case it is executing. we can easily get from ftrace the information about the entry and exit from a function.
